Used to be good. Not so much anymore. Steak quality has gone down hill, 3 of our 4 steaks were way overcooked. Short ribs were dry and almost inedible. Best of all the most recent time we were there the new people in the kitchen set off the fire alarm which blared in our ears for twenty minutes, you would think maybe they would offer a free round of drinks or dessert for the inconvenience but no just a $500 bill for an awful meal. Won't be back there are plenty of way better options.

We had a large group. I Had the Shrimp and Grits. It was Fantastic, I will get it again.Everyone enjoyed their meals of Sea Bass and Spare Ribs and our Cauliflower appetizer. (Cauliflower sounds lame, but it was really, really good).

Wonderful meal! Best steak tartar in a long time. Meatloaf was delicious. My Wife's tuna tartar was also excellent. Good service and a great bus boy.

My wife planned my surprise 40th birthday at Region. From start to finish the night was perfect. The food was impeccable and very well cooked. The staff was amazing, extremely helpful and just pleasant throughout the entire night. Everything went perfect and i would recommend anyone to have their private event at Region.

So glad they expanded the outdoor area for warm summer nights too! This place is doing it right! The food is incredible, the Service is top notch, and the bar program is one of the best! Highly recommend the shrimp and grits, the A-7 Waygu strip, the Cauliflower appetizer, and the through the looking glass Old Fashioned. Every time we go to Region, it has been an incredible experience. Best Restaurant in the area!!

This is a not so hidden gem in the middle of Barrington. The chef was very thoughtful in the selections we ate this evening. Highly recommend this for a date night or business meeting.
This is not meant to be a bad review. We like Regions, but last night in addition to the good there was some mediocre. Our night started off good with cocktails, and excellent steak tartare and smoked fish spread. But then our salad never came and after a long wait our main course arrived. Advising the server of this and our desire to just cancel the salad they did track down what happened and comped us the salad that had been sitting ready to go our table. That was nice! The main course of $40 scallops was disappointing and the chef should be embarrassed to serve over cooked, rubbery, and over seasoned dish. We could not even finish them. It was out of character to get those and the server offered to have them redone but it was obvious to me the cooking of the dish itself was flawed and we would have just gotten more of the same.

We were celebrating a significant birthday for a good friend & REGION came through big time! Food, drinks, service were wonderful as always & we could not have asked for anything more. Special thanks to our server Agnes who was terrific. A great corner table & a special birthday dessert topped off the whole evening!
Chrystal made my sister's birthday dinner so special! The old fashioned was pricey, but one of the best I've ever had. The chateaubriand appetizer was amazing as was the braised beef rib. We skipped dessert, but the tiny truffle with the birthday candle was a sweet touch! Great first experience at Region. We'll be back!
