“Arrived with a party of 4 on an unusually busy day (Sunday at 7pm), started to regret not making a reservation. No tables available and asked the cashier if we needed to order and then sit down as it wasn't clear if there were waiters who would take our order at the table. The cashier told me that if we wanted to dine in we would need to join the waitlist until there was an open seat for us. Fine, we waited. Come back after getting the call there was space for us, and we all wait in line to be seated. Another staff member came up and instructed us to sit. We watch as all tables start clearing out and wonder when and if the waiter would arrive. Probably sat there for about 20 minutes and went up to the counter where the same cashier told us that we needed to order, then sit down. Then why didn’t you tell us that when we were told to sit at the table?! Whatever, at this point we order and just wait. Food takes about 20 minutes and it is clear that everything was made fresh. The person who was cleaning tables (and also possibly the owner?) saved the meal by being extremely warm, kind and attentive to what we needed. He even reminded us about our deserts and helped our friend order waffles to go! These were the best waffles I’ve had ever-and the chicken was crisp and flavorful. But the beignets were the most memorable, having them freshly fried was life changing.I would recommend this place, but would ask that the staff be better about communicating the process. I am sure there are other instances of people walking out because they get frustrated not knowing what is going on. We are definitely going back to try Luella’s brunch!“

Juicy and good flavor with plenty of tasty fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me that the grilled wings only 4 were ready and I could wait a few minutes for the other two but offered to give me a leg and thigh in its place if I did not want to wait. I took them up on the offer and the grilled leg and thigh was also very good. I will be ordering from here again. The only thing I would say is that I did not see a bathroom available for those that want to dine in and wash your hands afterwards.“

I tried the hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and I’ll tell you what, it’s very good on par with fry the coop, and I love fry the coop, the fries were crispy and seasoned I had them mild, also great flavor. After trying all their items, my favorite is surprisingly the salad with 3 tenders on the side! The salad has a ton of different high quality ingredients. I like getting the citybird vinaigrette but lemon thyme ranch is also amazing. The fries are really good and such a great deal for the amount they give. The bathroom is always clean. There's street parking along Halsted that you may have to pay for, except for holidays and Sundays. Definitely an underrated, affordable and delicious restaurant and West Loop. “I don’t normally have Chick-fil-A for breakfast, however, both times that I’ve had breakfast here, I think it has been a great value for the food, friendliness of the staff, and atmosphere. I was warmly greeted by Leah, who answered a few of my questions, and Dave took care of me with my order. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered twice! Not many fast food restaurants have fresh flowers at their tables, and something I noticed is the location is very clean along with its restrooms. “This was my first time at a chick fil a. I went to the drive thru, strange set up, they had an employee outside so I ordered face to face. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was asked if I wanted to add on any sauce. I asked if it came with any and was told it did not, so I asked what sauces they had. I guess she wasn't ready to answer that because she just named 3 and I see they had 7. I asked what the chick fil a sauce was like and I was told "it's our signature sauce" that still didn't tell me much, but I figured I'd try it. I was disappointed that they don't put the sauce on the sandwich, they just gave me 2 containers, but I ate while I drove so I just ate it with no sauce. It was good, but I probably won't be back.“
