“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“

Having more charcuterie type options would be better (and string cheese isn't something anyone wants to see at a brunch buffet). The omelet & waffles were great (per those at the table who got them). Something I would caution anyone reading this on, is that in the bakery - they charge a 10% surcharge on all bakery items, whether you “dine in” or not. I wasn't thrilled about that.“

“Truly cannot say enough great things about Lucca & their staff. We love popping in for dinner, so much so, we chose to host my sister’s wedding shower here last weekend. From the initial planning with Sonia to the day of, we were blown away by the food, service and care we received. There is very little needed in terms of decoration [the space is beautiful as-is] and Sonia and her team did a wonderful job keeping everything running smoothly and on time. We even ended up needing to push our first course back by at least 15 minutes and they still didn’t skip a beat. Nothing felt rushed, behind schedule or off beat in any way. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. I wish we came for lunch since there were intriguing menu items but we will be back if we are in the area!“

This guy was terrific, and you can tell when people love what they do. This was the perfect place to pick for our date. I got the grilled chicken sandwich... the flavor was phenomenal? my boyfriend got the avocado BLT burger and he said it was delicious! “So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“

When you walk in, it’s like an Asian version of Chipotle/Subway/Poke Bros where you choose your ingredients in front of you. You choose the base, protein, toppings, and sauces. “Delighted to discover that the Gingko Restaurant is open in the evening for Illumination (holiday lights) events. After experiencing the light displays, we stopped for a meal.So many vegan and vegetarian choices on the menu. Other museums and venues could take a lesson from this! We ordered and enjoyed the Korean Stirfry. It was a little salty for me, but ample portions and reasonable prices. Served piping hot. Hot cider was delicious.Lots of seating in the clean dining area, including seats by the expansive windows overlooking the lights for the Illumination finale. That was a treat and a fun way to wrap up the evening.Our only issues were customer service focused. We had to ask for napkins and were given just two for meals that have a fair amount of juice. Also, we paid for my husband to have roasted vegetables added to his entree, but it looked just like mine in portion size. When I asked the server, he said he didn't know. No offer to check or to make it right. We were tired, so didn't press the point. But they will lose customers if this is a pattern.Note: As with most museums and cultural centers, the food venues are run by a different company, not by the Arboretum.Vegetarian options: Multiple choices for vegetarians and vegans, including hot sandwiches and entrees.“
“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“

The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“

We had onions on ours...generous portion. Very sweet onions. Our friends had sausage. Said it was very good. Nice portion. Italian beef melt was very good. Ton of beef on delicious garlic bread. Lots of cheese, but again, not a great quality cheese. Best i can describe it is to say it was kind of like drinking skim milk vs whole milk...if that makes sense. French fries were yummy, but not as hot as they could have been. Bread was served when we sat down. Delicious! Crusty and warm. Ask for their spice blend...it doesn't come out unless you ask for it. It was yummy...oregano, salt, pepper, and not sure what else, but out of this world. Service was great. Georgia was very very nice. We were not offered drink refills, and our water glasses were empty, and never refilled. But overall, we were happy. Prices were very reasonable! Four people--two pizzas, a sandwich, two dinner salads, two soft drinks...$66 before tip. Super nice and friendly people. Good food. Reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this place.“

I spoke with Becca a few weeks ago about what she would reccommend for our event and group size and she was so helpful.The food was delicious and she set everything up for our party before she left. The salad was pretty good overall, but the yogurt dressing had a very bold flavor compared to the other ingredients. Halfway through eating it, I realized that the only flavors I could taste were the dressing and, occasionally, the onions. The flavors would've probably been more diverse if I left the feta and black olives in, but I'm not a huge fan of either.Also, I've tried the cheesy garlic bread and one of their pasta dishes (can't remember which one) before, and they were both very good.“
