Whatever you do don't tell anyone about this place. It's my secret go to place for AMAZING pedogies and Guompki . . . Had made, fresh and amazing. I hope they keep doing this for decades to come.

Pierogi are good would love if they had meat ones. I ordered a dozen kraut and a dozen potato. The 2 containers were mixed potato and kraut. I bought potato to give to one friend kraut for another. They each got both!

A church has to be a place where can at least go in. Today the level of Lysol abuse was too much. Bad headache, nausea and asthma in seconds. Overwhelming Lysol smell. We came to buy food and had to leave right away. Health respiratory hazard place.

Delicious home-made Ukrainian food! Excellent pierogis- potato and sauerkraut. Cabbage rolls also very good. Takes me back to my childhood and reminds me of my dear Grandma. You can order ahead and pickup at the counter. Pleasant people work there. Recommend.

The best Ukrainian church and cultural center in the State of Illinois and Midwest as well as the center of the Vicariate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in the USA, Canada, Australia and Japan. This parish complex has the Cathedral itself, the cultural center, a branch of the Ukrainian credit union, a school of Ukrainian Studies, monuments to the 10 million Victims of Ukrainian Holodomor - Genocide of 1932-33 and the commemorative statue to the Heavenly Hundred (Brigade) and Heroes of Ukraine - the only ones of its kind in Midwestern USA. It also houses a sizeable Ukrainian cemetery and the home for the elderly in the vicinity. The best example of the classic Ukrainian communal life in North America.

We were invited to a Ukrainian wedding at this church. It was a small traditional ceremony for close friends. The church itself is very beautiful, it is huge, with a lot of lights, different frescos, and very tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. We were impressed by priest, such an intelligent and wise man. He found nice and helpful advices and words for a couple who arrived recently from Ukraine escaping the war. Made me want to come to church on Sundays, despite the face that we live in NYC.

I just wanted to write a comment so I really didn't know how to rate this church. I just wanted to say with the invasion of Russia in the past days there are many people trying to be involved and help in some way. There is not one single thing about prayer for your people right now. This website needs to be updated and active with prayer and love for a risen God who saves his people and never fails. People need you right now. Be available to them. And God bless the Ukraine ✝️
