“We recently hosted a baby shower in the private back room and it was fabulous! I love the fact that they do not charge extra for using the room. It is what helped us decide on this location vs others and I am glad about that. The food was very good, staff was helpful, and we had a great event. We had buffet type food line on left of room and then put gifts and cupcakes on the right side and then about 30 people seated in middle areas. We brought balloon bouquets, flowers and a few small easy decorations.”

The table next to us didn't pay attention and had paid or our table of 4 not their table of 2. Had I not identified the error, I would have gotten off cheap, glad I said something before they leftover so it got fixed before they left. It then took quite a while for the manager to sort it all out so we could be on our way. Glad they at least apologized, but would have been nice to hear a thank you.”

“You would think with a name like "Candy and Cake" that the desserts would be awesome. Had the banana cream pie and it was made from dehydrated bananas and they were still crunchy. The sandwiches we ordered were great.”

“First time here. Bacon wrapped dates were great. Service was excellent. The salmon was my favorite, done perfectly in my opinion. Other reviewers mentioned high prices but I found them to be inline with other establishments that are similar to this one. Atmosphere was a comfortable place to enjoy our friend’s company.”

“Beef 'O' Brady's is a friendly neighborhood sports bar. The updated menu is great. Everything I've tried has been great. Carli is awesome at the bar. She has my drink ready when I sit down. She cares about her customers. The atmosphere is great. Large screen TVs showing all sporting events. They have video gambling for those who want it and also an arcade geared towards kids and some adults like myself who like to collect rubber ducks from the crane machine, lol. It's become my regular Saturday night hangout. The owner, Dave, is personable and takes pride in his establishment. I highly recommend Beef 'O' Brady's!!!”

“A young woman today made my sub and she understood the assignment! She gave me extra onions like I wanted as some workers act like they are timid to load my sub with red onions. The red onions were fresh! She made my sub just as I wanted it and I enjoyed every bite. Will be back. Side note: I’ve never had a bad experience here no matter how busy and they can get busy!”

“First off, I just moved out here a month ago I was so happy. I could not believe a Dairy Queen that was open during the winter, okay, they don't serve food which I love Dairy Queen food. Also up by where I lived out in the Chicago area. But they were open, it was wonderful, second of all the young ladies at work, there were fantastic third of all, I always have a hard time getting any of the dairy queens to satisfy my order. I always get a medium Sunday with a small sunday's ice cream in it, extra hot foods on the bottom, extra hot fudge on the top, they always give me one overrunning with Ice cream and always the fudge on the bottom. This was the first Dairy Queen out of I'd say 6 that I have gone to that. Got my order, perfect. They put a small amount of ice cream like a small Sunday size ice cream in a medium cone where it was even with the cup and then they put the hat fudge on the bottom and on the top, some of them don't even give me the extra hot fudge, but they did, I go there once a week now and get that. And it is so good and they make it right every single time for me. So that was just wonderful to me. I don't think the prices are that bad. Since I paid the same prices out in the Chicago area”

“Been eating here with my family for over 15 years always satisfied what you see is what you get don’t go if your gonna leave a bad review cause the dining wasn’t fine it’s a fantastic hotdog cart with great sandwiches it’s not the cordon blue just a local staple that’s stood the test of time and for good reason”

“You think at a brewery you would get a beer menu when you sit down nope not here. the server james was horrible the 1st time last year and I'm surprised he's still here. you guys should have a beer flight or have a waiter that explains the menu. the host tried to sit us with a baby at a high top stating that the high chair would be tall enough. no it is not. never checked on us and the beer was flat there was no head on it at all. skip this place. we drove from Evergreen park since for some reason my husband likes this place. portions went down and service sucks. save your money and don't go here. and yes I am a GM of a restaurant so I know service. I will not be back. also my son had a cheddar burger looks like this cheese was scraped out of a cheese dip container. he took it off. GROSS!”
