Attended BBQ 101 presentation at Beach Ave. Juan and Chris, the owners, are very knowledgeable, and they both shared the style in which they prepare and cook for the restaurant. The conversation and interaction with all of us was informative and funny throughout. We were also served to sample the finished foods they were demonstrated. Along with the food, several beers and soft drinks were also available to sample. If you enjoy BBQ and smoking meats and poultry, I would highly recommend attending this event. You will come away with added knowledge of the art of preparation and smoking items for you and your family and friends to enjoy.

My husband and I went to their BBQ 101 class last Sunday. We had a great time. The information given by Juan and Chris was great and the food samples were even better. If you have the opportunity to attend a class you should do it. If not, make sure to go to their restaurant. Their food is phenomenal. Those guys truly have a passion for their food and you can taste it. Thank you

The food was pretty good. The fries were actually great and warm. The chicken sandwich was pretty cold all around except the middle. Also took a little too long for 2 sandwiches. Atmosphere was great but it's also a little

We are new to the area and trying out local places. Love Beach Ave BBQ! BBQ rubs, Mexican street corn, waffle fries and brisket were absolutely delicious!!!!! I read other reviews saying ribs were salty and rough. Not at all the case today! The smokey flavor is absolutely wonderful too! We will definitely be going back.

I was hoping for the best, but no such luck. I ordered a full slab of ribs, Cole slaw and potato salad. The ribs were the worst I've ever had. Very tough, silver membrane left on and so salty they were like warmed beef jerky. The service was nice thanks to a friendly employee but I'll never be back.

I can't say enough good things about Beach Avenue BBQ. I had a last minute catering request and Juan and his team went above and beyond to help us out. Everyone at our gathering raved about the food. If you haven't tried their bread pudding you're missing one of the best desserts in the western suburbs.

Food wasn't bad but we were confused as to why we did not get any BBQ sauce with our BBQ food? Menu said sweet or spicy with pulled pork sandwich. I clearly asked for spicy and got nothing. A dry sandwich. My guy got some dry rib tips and said he's never had BBQ food without BBQ sauce. Maybe we're the few that are disappointed I guess.

Passed by this endless times and finally stopped in. Wow! The sausage and bread pudding were stellar! If you have Att, run up the complaints that you can’t get through to them via phone. They shouldn’t be losing business due to a service provider issue who has not been helpful resolving it. Will def be back soon!

With no question the best BBQ I've ever had in Chicagoland. Absolutely everything was delicious, from the Pulled Pork to the Bourbon Bread Pudding to the Sausage to the Ribs. But the star of the show was the brisket, it is incredibly juicy and flavorful with the perfect seasoning. If you've ever seen this place but never stopped by, you need to. If you're wondering if this place is worth it, I guarantee you it is. Staff is so friendly! I'm a fan. Don't waste your time at a different BBQ place.

Food is good no complaints there. I'm a transplant from the south where BBQ joints are a dime a dozen and this is the first place I've ever seen without combos. Nothing comes with your sandwich. You have to add either a small or large side to make it a combo and it is not cheap at all. Quality is there but lacking options that in my opinion could make more profit and appeal to more customers. Most BBQ joints have combos with 1 drink and 1 side or at the very least some coleslaw comes with your sandwich.
