“I came first when they had a soft opening and it was a nice experience. But a week ago I had a leftover Sajeyyah Fillet sandwich, and was absolutely blown away by the taste and texture. I couldn’t believe it’s from Ghawar restaurant. Today I invited a friend and came over for lunch. This is the best dish I’ve had in years. Unbelievable taste, texture and presentation. Pancakes were delicious, and hash browns so plentiful I had to take them home for lunch. “Golden Basket Breakfast Club is our go-to breakfast spot. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food never disappoints. I'm often surprised by how quickly the food is served. I love their pancakes, biscuits and Gravy and any of the omletes or skillets. They also have a wonderful lunch menu. I just ate there this morning and I already can't wait to go back!“

“Hidden gem on Irving Park Avenue in Schiller Park. I started with a bowl of the Cream of Broccoli soup and my guest had chicken noodle soup. Both were very good. I had the liver and onion dinner with mashed potatoes. My guest had the pork, with stuffing and mashed potatoes with gravy. Both dinners included dessert.“

“I decided to visit this cafe because of the high reviews. I'm certainly glad that I did. The food was all delicious but what really sets this place apart is the service. Mimi is the nicest lady. She greeted my children warmly. She is very attentive and kind. You can tell she takes pride in her restaurant and making sure you leave in a better mood than you arrived. I'd give the service 10 stars if I could.“

While the service was attentive, the true star of the show was this omelet, solidifying George's reputation as a Chicago brunch institution.“

With teeny bits of chopped chicken and a pinch of tortilla strips? It wasn't bad but definitely not traditional tortilla soup. They were nice enough to switch it out for another soups.“
