I took my son to the zoo and he had an amazing time! Their Hamil Family play plzone was great for my toddler to roam around and explore. We also enjoyed the Hamil Family Wild encounters. We saw the goats, birds, llamas and lots of space for kiddos to run around. We will definitely be coming back once the dolphins attraction is back for the season. Pro tip: Park in the south lot it's closer to the toddler areas.
The zoo is free on Saturday through January so is the children's zoo. While the tram is not running and the dolphin show is closed all the other buildings are open. You can rent wagons snd I rented a reserved electric scooter ( you just call days before to reserve it). The food court is open now. They are currently building a giant habitate for their gorrillas and they are always improving constantly. The parakeet house where you feed them for $2 is worth it.
