Came here for a birthday party and they catered. Thats the only reason I gave food no stars. I have no idea how the food is because I didn’t have the chance to try it. We were all dancing later in the night on the dance floor. But be warned, a lot of guys will stare. Have fun with your girls to be safe. Bathrooms only fits one person at a time unless you wanna get kicked out.

Really cool place unfortunately the place closed early on me and my date and they really rushed us out at 10 on the dot 4-15-24 it said they were open till 1.30 witch is 1 of the reasons I chose that place but it was just sad that they closed early on us but maybe next time if I ever decide to go back.

Check out this kind of unique zoo themed bar. It's next to a zoo: the Brookfield Zoo to be exact. Zubar is a convenient stop for those coming from and going to the zoo. Even those not going to the zoo can enjoy it. This is right off the Metra zoo stop, and I'm wondering how many times I can mention the zoo in this review, maybe 20 times or so. A convenient stop along the Metra gets you here. It's almost seriously there as soon as you get off. This is obviously located on the way to the Brookfield Zoo. It makes a pretty good stop when coming back from walking around. This is pretty much just a little bar with drinks and slots. It's about $5 for a simple cocktail. There's basic liquor. Good place to hang after walking around the zoo and needing to get a drink. It doesn't seem to have food anymore but you can bring some in. There's also entertainment like a jukebox and pool table.

Trashy and racist!!!!!! My boyfriend has a tattoo of his brothers name with a crown on it, and they told him he has to cover it or leave! Saying it's gang related, and they know he's in a gang. He is not. He just has a bunch of tattoos, and he was the only black person in that bar when we walked in. Everyone was staring hard and made us feel so uncomfortable. Even the new friends we made notice it and apologized, saying we could go somewhere else because they've never acted like that before and they can see we're not comfortable. Literally lied to my friend that joined 10 minutes after us who is a black girl and the bartend turned her nose up and said they're closed she can't order when the bar didn't close until 2 hours after that!!! The other bartender came to serve us after hearing us complain that that was bs. Will never return again.

Went here for Saint Paddy's day, but it wasn't really worth the trip. Bar was OK enough, I'd go back if I was passing by and wanted a quick drink but I wouldn't go out of my way
