“I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.”

“I'm my way to Midway and decided to get something to eat and I decided to go to the Best Shawerma. Let me tell you!!! I am glad that I decided to stop here. I got the combination plate. This dish is plenty for a hungry soul. The chicken is flavored perfectly, the rice is also flavored perfectly. The beef and lamb are cooked and flavored well also. Everything is seasoned, so good that I didn't need to use the three sauces that came with the meal. Everything time I fly into Midway, I am definitely making a stop when I land or when I'm going home.”

“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! The cook even came to talk to us for a bit which I thought was pretty cool…very personalable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service 😁”

“NYC Halal Eats in Burbank never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent customer service, making every visit enjoyable. The restaurant is clean, and the quality is consistently great. If you’re looking for amazing halal food in the area, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely keep coming back!”

“I work at a company near by and we sometimes place big orders from this location for friday lunches. It is always so good and even though its big orders, everything is always correct and nothing is ever missing! Recently I accidently made order for pick up when i meant to do delivery but I called the location and they said no problem and made the delivery themselves. The food and smoothies are always so good and fresh!!!”

“Dropped into this spot a couple times on my way home from shopping. You can tell it's a local type of dive where the folks all pretty much know each other. Though I was an outsider, I was properly greeted by a few and the customer service was good and friendly. It's the other few that look at you like you don't belong, especially if you're on a slot game they want.”

“Big fan of the place but today was less desirable. Granted it's the 4th and they were close to closing. I ordered cheese fries (great), a Chicago Dog (very good) and the Pork Chop Sandwich...which I saved for later. But once opening the package it was a Gyros Sandwich, not what I ordered (order ticket 141 on 7/4). I had a few pieces of the Gyro but wasn't what I ordered or wanted to eat so threw most of it away.”

“Food was great. The only issue I had was the green sauce did not have much flavor or heat. Idk what’s going on lately with the green sauce at many Mexican restaurants but they seem watered down, not like it use to be. Other than that food was good.”
