“Went on 4/29/24 for the first time. And when I tell you it was so worth it. There is a $25 entry fee that trust me is so totally worth it. The Band playing that night was from Memphis and they were top notch! And to all our surprise, Buddy Guy himself was there. Towards the half way point he made a appearance and oh boy was we put in for a treat. He did about 4 songs along with the band. Amazing night! I had the catfish tenders with fries they were good but overshadowed by the amazing performance. Drinks were good as well. If I could rate it 10 stars ? I would. I absolutely loved this place“
“Service from reservations, to dinner and service at the event was excellent. Drinks are very reasonable and surprisingly not water down as you would find that other bars. Food was good. Making reservations was a breeze. Only downside that was extremely disappointing was the band was an hour and a half late to start. Don't know what the issue was with the band but I'm not sure how that could be the venues fault. we're definitely coming back again!“

“The food was amazing! I live in the suburbs and wouldn’t definitely make the trip to them. I’ve tried different places with the same menu and none of them come close! Definitely going back and recommending it to anyone looking for a really good boil.“
“YOOOO the gilty pig is insane! They have "popped up" at my farm a few times now, and each time I am amazed by the flavors and complexity they bring to "simple dishes". They take a brat and turn it into a full asian inspired meal. Now if the food wasnt enough, this truck could not be run by two better people. They deserve all of the awesome things that are coming their way. Keep killin it, guys!“

“When you hear the name Shanahan's, one would think that this is an Irish pub, but it's actually touted as a creole restaurant. I have been to this restaurant in Forest Park, Illinois many times, and have mixed feelings about it. Oftentimes, the food is delicious but there have been other times when I found certain dishes to be inconsistent; such as the Seafood gumbo (sometimes too salty but other times decent). On the other hand, the Shrimp & Grits, the Fried Calamari and the hurricane drinks are consistently delicious. Dress is casual and food prices are moderate and a good value for the amount of food served. The staff is friendly and attentive. The locals love this place (which sometimes causes a noisy atmosphere) so get there early to avoid the crowds, as well as to secure on-street parking.“

“We ordered snow crab combos and a side of shrimp. $180ish for 3 people. It was so good! The flavor is definitely there. The crab was sweet and extremely juicy. Your choice of sauce/dry rub and level of heat. Corn boiled egg, and potatoes were soft. Everything came hot to the table. The waitress was super nice, topped off our drinks at good times and checked in on us through the meal.Atmosphere is comfortable, music playing loud enough that you can't hear the shells cracking but I could still hear the person next to me talking. All in all it was a 10/10 experience besides the price. But everywhere is pricey rn.“

“Food was excellent! Served nice and hot! We ordered a build your own, 3lbs shrimp, 2lbs langostinos, 1lb green muscles, corn, sausage, egg and noodles! We tried medium spicy but it was a bit too much for our family so we got mild this time and it was perfectly balanced and enjoyable. Service was very good, she was very attentive and helpful. The mood is nice with urban R&B music playing so the setting is slightly dimmed and chill. Wasn't crowded at all so no worries with that. Definitely coming back!“

“Our party ordered king crab, snow crab, shrimp, mussels, and crawfish in different flavor combinations. The quality of the seafood is all great except for the shrimp. They are on the smaller side and were overcooked. The crawfish and mussels were huge and perfectly cooked, highly recommend those. The sauces were really good as well, the spice levels are as advertised I'd recommend caution unless you can handle a lot of spice. I'd skip on the corn and potatoes and order by the pound more bang for your buck. I'd recommend coming in to try at least once.Parking: There's plenty of street parking on wacker, you might need to walk a block or two.“

“It's the highest rated bbq restaurant in the area and there's definitely a reason for it. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and the service was great. I definitely want to come back soon and not continue driving past it all the time“
