“The Delta Lounge is a great get away located in beautiful Oak Lawn, IL. Local legend had it that if you go into the ladies or men’s washroom and flick the light switch 5 times up and down the toilet lifts up in the air revealing a stairwell. My friends and I went and tried this. Sure enough it worked. We walked down the stairs and were greeted by a flight attendant. She asked us for our ID’s and opened the door. It was a whole other bar below The Delta. It looked like an airport. They had peanuts, drinks, a movie playing, and another pay phone oddly. What a night we had there. Instead of last call they make an announcement. Please prepare for landing and have a great night.“

“Visiting for work a couple days and had some down time to kill. 1st day, met Frank.. super friendly and made me feel welcomed. Played darts with some people from Belgium. Touch tunes and drinks are priced right. Met Jeff and regular and Mark the 2nd day I came. Great dive bar!!“

“Calling this place a "dive-bar" is a disservice. It's a family run neighborhood bar with the works. Good music (from an awesome preloaded jukebox), a fair selection of beer, wines, and spirits, friendly and quick service, and a very laid back and welcoming atmosphere. The mood definitely gets more upbeat and rowdy(in a good way) when there are things like bingo (Stingo) or live music performances going on, but even when those aren't happening, you can bet there's an interesting film being played on their TV. The owner Steve runs a tight ship, and it shows. I urge anyone passing by or new to the area to come grab a beer on a weekend or weekday night (except Tuesdays because I don't think they're open those days). You're guaranteed to run into the colorful characters that make up the Bridgeport community. I live in the Midway area, and the drive to get here is more than worth the trip. Stop by, grab a beer, order some Japanese food from next door (or tacos across the street) and start a conversation. You'll be hooked immediately and won't regret it ✨“

“We came here for a concert over at Thalia hall from Columbus and stopped in for a drink after and met the sweetest bartender named Courtney. She was extremely welcoming and her smooth playlist of jazz fit the atmosphere perfectly. All in all 10/10, definitely will drop by again next time!“

“On my recent visit to Chicago me and my wife found the Shamrock and visited the bar 3 times. Every time drinks and service was first class and friendly staff and locals. “Great Chicago Tavern. Old Style on tap. Malort behind the counter(ant your own risk, lol). Owner is awesome. Went here because growing up as a kid in Chicago I’ve been to taverns with the old man but never been to one as an adult. Would definitely go back here again.“

“This is one of my favorite spots on the Madison strip of bars. The staff are always friendly, and they have a solid beer list. Once, I was wearing a shirt from a brewery I had visited, and the owner asked me about it, stating that he is always trying to mix it up with his beer offerings. Would recommend!“

“This bar has been the bar of choice for a while now, being there often enough where they know what i drink when i walk in, and know my name. you cannot beat the price, and everyone there is friendly. if you're looking for a fancy mixed drink this isn't your place, but there's always cold beers and the shots keep flowing.“

Atmosphere is always welcoming and the crowd always has more new faces that become friends.Parking: The Italian restaurant in the center of the strip mall allows for the over flow to use thier lot as well. Between the orange flags is a Motorcycle Only parking are for around 20 bikes, these spots are always available just outside the front door.“

“We had a layover in Chicago and were staying at the Hampton Inn, searching for a beer near by we came across this on Google and went, what a blast very friendly staff and bar tender Tish, my wife and I can't remember when such a great time in a bar, we will see you the next time we are in town.“

“I was surprised by how good the food is just because this place is definitely more of a bar than a grill. We all enjoyed our meals, and the service was excellent. The prices are fair, and it would be a great place to come check out sports or some live music. They also have some slot machines.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options besides salads, but I believe they have a few.Kid-friendliness: Kids are certainly welcome and they have a kids menu, but it is really close to an actual bar.“

“It's a great neighborhood bar to have some drinks before a Sox game with your friends or family have a patio area outside great place to meet for some drinks after work and come see a band on Sundays when they have them weather permitting let me just put it this way it's a great bar to come to watch any Chicago Sports and have a good time and the prices are great“
