There isn't a secret ingredient nor any gimmicks about this place. Just a plain yet well executed sandwich which is prepared to order. Wait was about 5 min however the redeeming quality of this place is the price. This much for for $10' is rare territory in a city chuck full of overpriced bull.
I've lived in the area for over 29 years & Nicky's Gyros has always been a go to for good fast food. The Italian Beef sandwich is legendary!!!!! I always get mine lightly dipped with hot peppers & mozzarella cheese. The sandwich has plenty of beef inside & over the years that hasn't changed. The food is consistent as well as the taste. I moved from Dolton over 15 years ago and I still miss Nicky's!!! I know the neighborhoods has changed, but I still try to visit whenever I'm in town. I ate here so much. Everything is good. Customer service is always friendly and fast. Even if it wasn't, it's always worth the wait.
