“I want to give a huge shoutout to Kyle, manager at Quatro’s for his excellent customer service! He went above and beyond rectifying a couple of mishaps that I experienced with Q’s. My family have been ordering their pizza for years and I didn’t really want to start going somewhere else due to some problems with ordering etc, but kyle immediately called me (without me asking him to) and offered up a solution. Kudos to him especially when a lot of other restaurants would have just shrugged it off. Than u!!!”

“My sister and I had a lovely dinner here last week. The food was fantastic, the staff was attentive and the atmosphere was great. We had Samosa, bread, yogurt, mango chicken and Saag chicken. We shared the dishes and still had leftovers!! We will be back😊”

“We had a great meal here—the food was definitely the highlight. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. That said, we did have to wait a bit to be seated, and the restaurant was really busy, so the service felt a bit slow and scattered at times. It’s understandable given how packed they were, but it did impact the overall experience slightly. Still, if you're not in a rush and want a tasty meal, it's worth a visit.”

Took a bottle with us & enjoyed later on the patio at the Home2 Suites in Springfield. Wish you weren’t so far from our home in Des Moines Iowa.”

“I love to try new (to me), local eateries and this place did not disappoint. The burgers were amazing, fries were OK, but I'm not a fan of shoestring and that's not their fault. But what stole the show..... the corn nuggets.

FYI, the amount spent was due to shakes and ordering a few extras to try. Easily a $15 to $20 meal normally.”

“Flame is one of my favorite local restaurants. The ambiance is pleasant and the cocktails are good. All of their dishes are very well priced and everything tastes like it's made fresh. My go to is the lobster dip, crabcakes, and ribeye. They recently added creamed spinach as a side and it's very tasty.”

Yes, there were issues every once and a while but what restaurant doesn't. I've eaten there several different times while off the clock or just on one of my off days and my food was always hot and never came out wrong, it's not special treatment, it's good service and being caring and compassionate about one another. <3”

“Fantastic dinner tonight! Met the new owners, fantastic people. We had a thin crust pizza and it was amazing. We opted for the chewy thin and it was perfect, toppings were great and the cheese was perfect. I had a fountain Coca Cola and my husband enjoyed Blue Moon on draft. Our server was very nice and the place was clean. 10 out of 10!! We cant wait to go back and try some sandwiches!”

“My boyfriend and I stayed for a few nights at the hotel that’s connected to Manny’s. They have happy hour on select beer for 4-6, the best prices in town on drinks, slots, pool, and great customer service. Lindsey took care of us all night, and did a great job doing so. The place is super clean and taken care of. They currently don’t offer food, but have some great suggestions on food nearby. We loved the atmosphere, and plan on coming back!”

“Besides being the cleanest business in Southern Illinois, it has, by far, the best team. I had a very large order recently on a Friday. If you don’t know, every Friday is like Black Friday at Smoothie King because they discount the 32 oz. So, they are always busy. They managed my large order while pushing out a constant drive thru line at the same time. The humans working there are smarter than the computers which is always a plus. Excellent product. Fabulous staff. I’m a born again Smoothie Queen because of Carbondale Smoothie King.”

“I love this coffee shop. It is in SIU's Morris Library and has hours specific to when the library is open. It is usually closed when the students are off for breaks, too. They have a punch card, so the more drinks you buy, you get one free eventually. The coffee is good, staff is very friendly and they will do special requests. Sometimes you get $1 coffee in late afternoon, which is awesome.”

“They remodeled the Starbucks and it looks great! The seating area is smaller now, which kinda sucks, but there’s still enough space to sit. The menu’s the usual Starbucks stuff. With the new setup, you can order online and pick up in store. The staff are always super friendly.”

“I just had the most horrible Sonic experience of my life! I used the app to order like I usually do and my food is always ready within a few minutes after my assigned time. Today is my daughter's birthday and I had some people wanting food from Sonic and some people wanting food from another place. I picked up the other food first because I knew I could order on the Sonic app and it would be ready when I got there. I sure was wrong... I checked in at 4:30 for an order that was supposed to be ready at 4:35. I push the button a couple of times to ask about my order and they told me it was on its way. Finally at 5:10 I was fed up. I pushed the button again to ask about my order and they acted like they wanted me to order all over again and then they just shut the mic off on me??? A few minutes later part of my order came out but not all of it... then they went back and got the rest. unfortunately the other food I got was cold and the sandwich I got from Sonic was cold as well. Don't think I'll be going back there again for a long time if ever... thanks for ruining my daughter's birthday...”
