My Parmasian truffle fries had good flavor but were over cooked and not hot. I didn’t mention any of that to them, but hope next trip will be better.

Another recent addition to Carbondale's Best! Pls note this review posted in 2019, lol time just keeps marching on...but: back to the review!s Original and unique...at least for C'dale. Try the "Best Reuben"...it really is! Fries are freakin awesome too! It's worth going non-Keto for a sandwich and fries here!

Friendly staff, amazing food and great drinks is the mix that makes the us place a Carbondale gem! Never a bad meal here and the old school atmosphere is great.

I live in Carbondale, and I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, I have eaten at restaurants all over the country this by far is the most expensive over rated restaurant I have ever eaten at I paid 14$ for a burger and fries and the bun was double the size of the burger! We also waited over an hours and a half for our food. The atmosphere is very nice, plants and books everywhere although you can see directly into the kitchen and I watched an employee cooking and touching food with no gloves on. The staff was great very friendly but I don’t think I’ll be returning

The food was good but rich, in more ways than one. They charged me $13 for a $6 mac n cheese and the waitress told me they charge the same amount even if you don't get the extras. Why is it $6 on the menu then? $22 pasta dish was nothing to write home about either. In general it was overpriced for what you get, and they also overcharged me. I won't be back.

keepers quarters is the best restaurant in carbondale. all the servers are hot and friendly and cool and nice, especially the two kat’s! definitely recommend the best reuben in carbondale!

Chef Doug never disappoints! Came in early for some brunch. Started off with a key lime pie mimosa and the Tokyo Bloody Mary. Both were delicious! We ordered the squash press and the breakfast of champions. Both were very good! Squash press is very good hot when you get it. Still go later but wasn't as tasty and flavorful when it cooled off. The breakfast of champions wasn't necessarily very breakfasts but still outstanding in flavor and the chips were soooo good. Will always recommend this place!

We absolutely love Keeper’s Quarters and are so stoked lunch is back! I had the Reuben today and it was slammin’! it has such a great atmosphere with a library of cookbooks to peruse and lots of gorgeous plants. 100% recommended checking it out!

The food was amazing, such a good find! We had a very unconventional chicken and dumplings and it was hands down the best version of chicken and dumplings ever made. It was so light and flavorful. We also had the kimchi chicken sandwich and it was out of this world, so full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and very helpful explaining the dishes to us. Loved this place.

Coming down from Chicago area, this is by far one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting, even relatively to up north. Drinks, apps, and main meals were excellent. Highly recommend the hummus and Cuban sandwich!Most importantly, the service was superb. Harleigh did a wonderful job following up on any requests and was so kind. She, and the rest of the team here, set a new bar for what restaurant service/quality should be.Don't think, just do it.
Are there recently after a long Covid hiatus, and what a treat. Happy to see some staff still there who were there at our last visit. Food was very tasty, generous, and creative, but comfortable. Highly recommend.

Keeper's Quarters is definitely a finer dining experience. We started off with a beef soup which was packed with flavor. My live got the Reuben which was also very tasty. Their French fries are absolutely delicious!! I got the burger with a salad. The burger was juicy and delicious!! Everything was really good. Pricey but very good! 5 stars all day. ?????

Keepers Quarters has amazingly flavorful food, as well as an inviting, comfortable atmosphere. The music is just right and the staff goes above and beyond to make your visit pleasant. Do yourself a favor and go see Doug and his spectacular crew for dinner. Hit up the juice bar too, you won’t regret it!

What a lovely surprise in SoIL! The menu has something for everyone with classic burgers and fries to more creative dishes! We just came in for a drink- I had the chai cocktail and my bf had the pear bourbon cocktail. Mine was such a unique flavor and was very strong, but the pear bourbon stole the show! I would definitely recommend it! Our server, Kat, was so sweet and attentive. She was working the entire restaurant and still did a great job.
