It’s getting hard to find breweries who make classic styles… which makes 206 Brewing a rare find! An easy-drinking brown ale, a refreshing single-hop pale ale, a well-balanced rye IPA… nothing crazy, just good beer. And my husband enjoyed exchanging stories with two other veterans (including the owner) while we were there.
My wife and I stopped in to 206 Brewing today and we absolutely loved our experience at this terrific local brewery that is owned by one of Carol Stream's finest retired firefighters. We were not only treated to some fantastic craft beer but had a great conversation with the owner and brewmaster Bill. Thank you so much Bill. You made our day and we look forward to coming back for a visit real soon!

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon, curious about 206. The reviews are true, it’s a little gem. Very nice range of beers and ciders for all tastes. The service was excellent. Informative and friendly. One of us enjoyed the milder beers, a lager and a wheat, while the other went for the hoppy varieties.
