“There were 3 of us. We were the only patrons for a while then another table came in. They had a buffet that evening with a salad bar. The food was very good. 2 kinds of meat, mashed potatoes, 2 kinds of gravy, green beans, corn, and salad bar. We had cobbler and pie for dessert.Usually when we go there, the place is busy. Price was very good. Breakfast is available all day.Parking: Parking lot just outside the door. Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables were spaced well enough that a wheelchair could be used. Doors were average width.“
“Out of all places that I've ever been to I hate to say hands down that this is the best and most greatest place to go. The food was awesome and customer service is exactly what it was supposed to stay throughout time as customer service the employee made sure everything was the way it was supposed to be and that everything was made right refills where done right on time. I would and for sure most definitely would recommend this place hands down to anyone and everyone“
“My son had his wedding at Walker's Bluff Tasting Room. EXCELLENT! Enter thru the Rabbits Hole, Ceremony in the Wine Cave, Champaign toast around the Circle Bar, Reception in the Tasting Room. Food was OUTSTANDING. Wedding Planners were GREAT. Everything was GREAT! Great Memories.“
“Nice, clean small Casino, 2 months young.Employees were all courteous.Slots we’re fairly loose.Disappointed that the better Restaurant is only open on weekends, Winery Restaurant as well…. BummerWish them the best. Forgot to mention: I did not like the fact that you had a time limit on ordering another drink!!! 20 minutes before you are allowed another!!! Really????“
“My husband, son, and I ate here for my husband's birthday. We got the pub pretzel with beer cheese and the Buffalo cauliflower balls as appetizers. My husband had traditional buffalo wings and Philly cheesesteak, my son got the widowmaker, and I and I got the mechanic. The portions were huge, the burgers were hand made, not frozen. Onion rings were fresh and tender, not tough. Perfectly seasoned fries. My husband said the sandwich was like it was supposed to be (his family is from Philly)The place was clean and quiet with soft music in the background. The food came out in a good amount of time, and the temperature was good on everything. Our server, Bailey, was prompt and really friendly. We will definitely be back!Parking: Street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get into.“
“Perfect place for a date night. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was easily the best I have ever had. The onion rings tasted like good fair food. This is a great place for those who want to eat, play some pool, and grab some drinks. The posted hours did show Sunday as closed, but the light up "Open" sign was on and the staff assured us they were open.“
“A jewel in Carbondale! Love so much about this place: the cozy but sophisticated atmosphere, the efficient and friendly service, the focus on local ingredients and innovative dishes. Highly recommend the best salad and the giant pretzel as appetizers. Great cocktails and beer selection.Hope to come again if we're in Carbondale.“
“1st time here and it was good food price was good as well. Add chicken carbonara it was fantastic , has been had a cheeseburger I'm really good grandson had Parmesan boneless wings He said they were really good mother-in-law had the fish sandwich she ordered it plain but they accidentally put pickles on it and onion she could taste the pickle juice lol but it was still good The brownie and the cookie with a scoop of ice cream now that was ????Parking: Just not a lot of parking spots but overall it was okay“
“Very fancy food. Not what we normally go for, but we thought for a special occasion we'd try it out. We had escargot for an appetizer. It was really good. For entrees I had rack of lamb, my wife had a coffee and molasses encrusted filet, and my daughter enjoyed a New York strip. They were all prepared perfectly and tasted fantastic. We also indulged in desserts, cheesecake, lemon tart and creme brulee. They were also delightful. Our waiter Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful. If there was any downside to our experience it was the check. It was quite expensive. But sometimes it's okay to splurge a little!“
“The location is rual but not far from Carbondale IL, home of Southern Illinois University. It's a winery adjacent to a Walker's Bluff Casino and hotel. It's a nice casual place with pub food as well as more expensive meals. The atmosphere leans more toward a pub venue. The food prices are reasonable, as are the wines. The tasting is $5 for 5 tastings. We had a nice time.“
