One of our favorite places in Champaign, and we only recently stumbled upon the restaurant before hearing about the food truck. The tortas are to die for; grilled, warm, full of flavor, and delicious. They will occasionally try new veggies for the vegetarian version, which keeps things interesting:) Service has always been beyond pleasant! Highly recommend checking this place out however you are able.

Fernando's food truck has been making some of the best tacos in the Champaign-Urbana area (along with Los Hidalguense Taco Truck and Maize), and their new location carries on their tradition of simplicity and excellence. I'm partial to their chorizo and al pastor, but I've taken a lot of people here, and I've nothing but praise for the different meat options. While it doesn't appear on the main menu, they also have some other meat options like lengua and tripas. They get your food out quickly, and the guy who takes orders is always friendly. Highly recommended.

Food was mediocre; ordered burrito that was just not very good. Cashier was smirky when I asked for vegetarian options and suggested there weren't any. Manager stepped in but the experience sucked & I won't be back.

Fantastic food. This mexican food is just as good as what you can get in LA or TJ. It will definitely be my go-to for mexican food. Staff were super friendly as well.Wheelchair accessibility: First level, easily accessible.
They're a little out of the way, but it's worth stopping in. The food is FANTASTIC and the service is fast and polite. I had the chicken burrito and the meat was the best seasoned I think I've ever had in a burrito. The elotes were also really well seasoned. Delicious and elevated beyond just corn in a cup with toppings. Recommend!
