Always genuinely amazing food. Tortas are the best I've ever had. I think they pan fry the bread with cheese to get this really crispy, savory cheese layer on it. It's so good. Employees are always super nice and efficient too. Best prices in town as well. 11/10 I've brought every friend who's visited me to this truck.
I just moved to Champaign in August and I'm excited to try all of the local spots! Last night I got to start with Fernando's. I'm especially fond of food trucks as my mom and I started our own in 2019 (she's still running it out of state). The guy that took my order was very polite and helpful. I was a little thrown off when he said they don't serve rice and beans- a staple at most Mexican food trucks. He reassured me that the burrito was still a good size and he wasn't wrong!...read full review
