It's legit but also expensive. The tofu was really nice, but the double cooked pork was just ok, so I guess it's a 3 star
Big fan of the restaurant and recently started working here. BTW we are open for dine in now!
Excellent food every time we go! We also routinely try new dishes and haven't yet been disappointed so far. Highly recommended!
I’ve only ordered here during quarantine so I don’t know what dine-in is like, but the food is amazing! It’s ready fairly quick, and there are a lot of great options. The food is also legit Sichuan cuisine, so be prepared for authentic flavors.
Even though I couldn't dine in, the place looked great and Hannah who took my order was a gem. She said they could accommodate my allergies and the food was very good. Would go back.
Really disappointing crab rangoon had no filling and over cooked all the food had bones in it. On the rabbit there was more bone than meat and in the the 3cup chicken bones thought-out trying to break my teeth. Dry chili chicken was chewy and over cooked for 70$ definitely not worth it hardly any of the order was edible. No quality at all
It was authentic and very delicious compared to other nearby chinese restaurants.Tofu with mixed veges were not that good.Wonton was sweeter than expected, also soso.Beer with spicy beef(?not sure abt the exact name, bit similar) and hot and sour soup were awesome! Will definitely re-visit the place later.
Excellent szechuan style food!Takeout only as of now.
Trash. I don't mind having a order take some time. But If you say ready at 630, I plan to pick it up then.....not 6:50 and I'm waiting like a fool. Just say 650. THEY ARE CANCELLED
I tried this place twice two days in a row. Taste better than many Chinese Szechuan restaurants and foods taste different. Some are good on the first and other are good on the second day. I would come and try again.
Overall, this establishment doesn't stand out to me. Average.Pro -Flavor is on point, probably the only redeeming quality food-wise.I do takeout so not concerned with what other people say about service. I had no bad interactions with staff.Con -Tiny portions for the price, Chili Chicken hardly had any chicken (and if it was there it was mostly fried breading) and was drowned by 40 or so chilis (basically took up 1/3 of the container).Texture meh... tough cuts for Cumin Lamb. I don't know what's up with their selection of lamb shoulder, but maybe my order was a freak case where I got a leaner cut of meat or they didn't marinate it.
We are traveling and decided to stop in Champaign for the night. Picked here for take out and feel that this was the best Chinese meal we have ever had and we've eaten Chinese all over the country. We had the spring rolls, kung pao shrimp and the szechuan chicken.
This place may be a bit expensive, but oh my god these dishes are truly authentic! and thats not a word I use lightly. You get what you pay for, and what you get is some quality, delicious food. So far, Ive had the chili fried chicken(a dish that is hard to get just right) and the egg drop soup is amazing!
We had some takeout from this restaurant upon an enthusiastic recommendation of a friend, and she was so right. We had dried chili chicken, crispy lemon shrimp and kungpao beef and they were delicious! I think I know Chinese food well, and they tasted really authentic Szechuan. People who worked there were very professional and seemed to have very good hygiene protocols in place, all in masks.
