My favorite go to Asian food in Champaign. Their Lao Szechuan green beans are my perfect mealon its own! They’ve changed the recipes up on a few of my favorites that are no longer my favorites though ?Usually the service is great but idk, I think they have new ownership. I recently dined at this restaurant and it was an absolute delight! The flavors and authenticity of Sichuan cuisine truly shine through every dish. From the dry chili chicken to the perfectly balanced Mapo Tofu, each bite transported me back to the streets of Chengdu. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend Old Sichuan Restaurant to anyone craving an authentic taste of Sichuan!

The ordering system is all online through the website, and you can "call" the waiter through the online portal if you need service. The food was great, and the portions were huge. The soup dumplings were okay, but they didn't have much soup inside them. Similar to family style minus the round table. There are plenty of vegetarian options and paid parking available in the back.
