Hands down the best Mexican restaurant of the dozens I've been to. It has the best, kindest wait staff. The atmosphere is not typical, but very extremely pleasant. The prices and very reasonable. A couple can share a molcajete bowl for under 30 bucks and walk out full and happy. This is my wife and I's go to spot now!

No vegetarian section on menu. Beans and cheese sauce are NOT vegetarian. It is prepared with beef and chorizo grease. Also guacamole was just mashed avocado. No cilantro or onion.Vegetarian options: very little.

We ordered the molcajete. It is enormous and very tasty. More than enough for two people. At least three different people checked on us while we were eating and everything came out quickly.

We took a chance on a new place and wow it did not disappoint! The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. The owner was so friendly and took time to chat with us and welcome us to his establishment. We will definitely return.

The chips and salsa not so good. The service was ok. They forgot to see their own menu. Some food was missing los chips no eran muy buenos, muy duros. La salsa mo era tan impresionante. La comida era más o menos. Mucha grasa. Además se olvidaron de mirar el menú que ellos mismos escriben. Faltaba algo en el menú. La atmósfera es linda.

Las Palmas is an all around restaurant. They have the best service in town and their staff are very caring and friendly. They have the best Mexican food in town, and even their complimentary chips and salsa are honestly the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is very nice and perfect for a dinner or lunch with your family or some friends. Their prices are reasonable and the price for the portions they give is unbeatable. I have been a loyal Dos Reales fan throughout my time in the CU, but Las Palmas is slowly overtaking them for the best Mexican Restaurant in the area!

We came in a big party, so i understand why the service was behind and a little grumpy. The rice was under cooked, salsa bland, the tacos was awesome I thought. Someone in the party said her chicken was rubbery. When she said something the server literally shrug his shoulders and walked away. We asked for the birthday girl to sung to, but had to ask several more times before they did. Had to request a margarita tower several times before they received one. They weren't busy so I don't understand lack of communication.
