I was introduced to Niro's back when they were in Chicago area by my brother. When they lost their location due to progress he talked them into moving to CU. Best thing ever! The food is awesome as is the service. So now when I visit Champaign I have orders to bring back triple gyro plates. Honestly, I have not found better by anyone else. And the 500 mile drive back makes me hungry with the delicious aroma of Niro's in the truck. My neighbor plans his Sunday dinner around my arrival.

This place has been a favorite of mine. The food is always hot, fresh and its decently quick for their drive thru.
Wait times are unacceptable. Hire more people bc it isnt worth the wait. people get out of drivethru line left and right bc they cant keep up with customers

There’s a bread tie inside my sandwich.It’s really disgusting to find a bread tie inside my Philly sandwich. I mean it’s definitely irresponsible, unsanitary, and definitely unprofessional. I am really not happy about this at all, and I am not sure if I bit this plastic inside my sandwich, that shouldn’t be there, or not. This is truely unacceptable.

Not sure about what happened to others but I decided my Polish from Der Weinerschnitzel wasn't enough and decided to hit Niros on the way out of town...and am glad I did!!!I love gyros and my gyro days date back to the late 60s and early 70s when Zorbas was it on campus. Then they opened up out West Springfield after I moved away.Now we have Niros and I can attest that over the past 8- 10 years, every gyro was very good with tonight's a gutbuster!!I mean look at the attached picture!!I am only a third of the way through it and am (almost) stuffed.Great taste. NO ONIONS either as requested.The only gripe was I wanted MORE SAUCE but am satisfied with what I received.Good stuff as intended for those wanting food late nowadays.

My gyro was good as always. My problem was the service.First off, who comes to Niro's for just a drink? Feta cheese put in container, not on gyro combined with no napkins equalled a mess in my car and 2/3 of gyro thrown out. Next time I will try Lil Porgy's.

We got a triple gyro plate and two pieces of baklavas for lunch. The portion of the triple gyro plate was generous! We will get another meal out of it for sure. The pita bread was fresh and soft. And the baklava was always delicious! Nice and friendly service ?Sorry, no photos. We were too hungry ?
