Staff extremely friendly and patient (we went 4/15 and the person taking orders was so kind and thorough). Food was delicious. I had the Smashy McSmashface and have been dreaming about it for the last 24 hrs. I do wish that the buns were toasted, I think it would’ve kicked it up a notch, but I’ll ask on our next visit. I’m excited to go back and try new things though - it is unlike most offerings in this area.Kid-friendliness: We have an 18 month old and though the environment and staff were “toddler friendly”, there are no high chairs or booster seats. We have a seat we typically attach to tables when we dine in, but their tables were not safe for our portable hook-on high chair. That is something to consider and we will likely bring our stroller inside next time.

Exile On Main is the best burger I've ever had in my life. Kinda odd they have an 18% service fee when you need to go to the counter to order food. Amazing atmosphere and music though, 100% going back.

I would like to lead that the smash burger and fries were good. Unfortunately we were very turned off by the 18% automatically charged to our bill. When we questioned it the cashier said it's on the menu. When we checked it was so minute at the bottom you would need a magnifying glass to read it. I don't appreciate this being added to my bill and basically unaware. We are tippers but this is unacceptable. Why don't restaurant owners just pay their employees like other establishments? They expect their customers to make their payroll.
Great food and live music. I'm happy! Vintage Ronald McDonald plates are the deal.

Big rare cut of meat with water dumped all over it, water splashing around the table, makes the night SO MUCH more fun. After the club go to The Space for sloppy steaks. They'd say; 'no sloppy steaks' but they can't stop you from ordering a steak and a glass of water, before you knew it we were dumping that water on those steaks! The waiters were coming to try and snatch em up, we had to eat as fast as we could! OHHH I MISS THOSE NIGHTS!

I think the place is really neat. Love watching the cooks make the food like an old diner. Very creative, flavorful sauces. Bold move serving Malort on tap. Younger me would've imbibed, older me knows better (and is less fun). They always seem to play great music. Love the vibe. Oh, and the burgers may just be the best in town.
