This is the cutest diner! The Denver omelette was awesome. The waitress was super sweet and attentive. The prices are unbelievably good. This is definitely my new favorite spot! I can't wait to come back!
I've been going to this place for several years now and I've always enjoyed the personal attention I get from Penny, the one-woman orchestra who owns the place. I enjoy the quiet atmosphere where I can read or reflect while eating the delicious food. More than once I've engaged in conversation with Penny and one or two regulars sitting at the counter when I approach to pay my bill. Best old style Chicago Diner I've seen. Prices are amazing... foods even better. Best Patty Melt I've ever had. The lady who runs the place is friendly & helpful - an altogether great experience.
