We picked to go to El Quetzal restaurant yesterday because of their artistic sign board and inviting exteriors. Our overall experience matched our expectations.We were made to feel comfortable right away with tortilla chips and salsa.Horchata has a mild and distinct peanut flavor which was a plus and the virgin Micheladas were fun.Appetizers, Garnachas chicken were delicious and the Shrimp Aguachiles surprised us with jumbo shrimps laced with red onions in green lime tart sauce.Main entree Chiles Rellenos is served with rice, bean sauce, veg salad and soft hand made tortillas. Hilachas, beef with potatoes is the non spicy option and Revolcado is a dish for more adventures at heart. Tacos are stuffed like never seen before!It was a very satisfying and fulfilling dinner.I will encourage everyone to go ahead and give them a try.

We had lunch at El Quetzal yesterday, and the food was amazing. We ordered ganachas as an appetizer, and between us, grilled chicken, grilled salmon, a burrito, chile rellenos. All was delicious! Homemade tortillas so warm and yummy. The service was warm, friendly and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I’m currently at the location. Dec 20 1:21 pm and still waiting for the food. After I arrived, it took 30 min later to get my order in, only because I stood up and ask for it already. 21 min later now, haven’t gotten anything yet. Tables and floor is dirty. It’s not what it just to be. Parking meter about to expire and I haven’t even gotten my coffee yet. Not leaving a tip ??♂️Got food at 1:23pmUpdate: 1:56 pm. They apologized for the delay of service & food and gave me a nice discount. That was very considerate. Changing service rating from 1 Star to 3.

They served us chicharrón pupusa which was delicious, as well as the fried yucca, but I didn't consume the pork because it had too much fat. I really like pork since it has a delicious flavor depending on how it is prepared. When I prepare it at home, I remove the excess fat that this meat has since it is not very pleasant to put a piece with 30% meat in my mouth. and 70 fat.

The place is nice, very spacious and clean, but every time you go they say that they don't have meat for steak and sometimes they don't even say anything to you and in the end they give you a thumbs up!! Get your act together and serve what it is, don't deceive people and take too long
