Cheese was good. Crust and sauce were bland. I salted and it got a better but not what I was hoping for. Bartender seemed irritated to be waiting on tables, maybe? Not welcoming or friendly. I was very excited to try this and disappointed overall.

Of course I had to make a stop here in Chicago; it’s the Tourist thing to do. The service was great. Our waitress was nice, & attentive, and attended to us in a timely manner. We ordered ceasar salads, & the veggie tavern style pizza. The ceasar dressing wasn’t what we were used to. It’s something that you have to get used to. The pizza was cooked perfectly, texture wise; but it had 0 flavor. We had to add salt and garlic powder for it to taste like anything.

I'm a traveler from Florida and had a great time here. Very immersive atmosphere and enjoyed the food and service. We had the calamari, meat & more pizza, along with tiramisu for dinner. There is a bar for drinks, a few TVs to watch, and walls full of Chicago's history. Our waitress made sure to let us know how long we should expect our pizza to be out and was very kind. A great experience for anybody from out-of-town.
Here's a brief negative review for Google based on the incident you described:---I had a disappointing experience at Giordano's. I ordered a cheese pizza but received a different pizza instead. Not only was the wrong item served, but I was also overcharged—$25 plus tax instead of the $20 plus tax I was supposed to pay. When I spoke to the manager, Cesar, to resolve the issue, the treatment I received was unprofessional and disrespectful. Very poor service and resolution. Would not recommend based on this experience.

Rafael Steven's Morales was our bartender and the guy was an absolute legend. The man had a great sense of humor and he made some amazing drinks. The food was on another level I would give it a definite 10/10 for rating 100% recommend everyone go to this location. As for David the on duty manager working the front counter you are amazing for your kind and patient work.

There is no parking nearby, so plan on paying for street parking and walking a couple of blocks. They told us it'd be 50 minutes from when we ordered, so we ordered appetizers to help food come faster, but the pizza didn't take long, and then we had too much food. That was okay, but I was annoyed that our waitress never came back to fill our drinks. (Why I only gave 4 stars) Food was all tasty, appetizers and pizza.

The portions are large, the toppings are plentiful, and it’s delicious!The portion was quite large for two people so we were able to eat to our fill.The atmosphere was nice and the servers were friendly.What was disappointing was that the pizza wasn't that warm and the cheese was a bit hard.That was disappointing, but overall it was okay!
