Chicago waffle - South Loop is a neighborhood staple. What they do well: waffles, skillets, and quick service.What could make it better: pricing structure Waffles should offer a meat protein. It's unfortunate that a waffle ($15) & turkey bacon ($6) is $21 vs my boyfriend's healthy skillet bowl at $18.49 (which came with potatoes, spinach, feta, eggs, 3 proteins, and pancakes).
Nice little place, food came out fast, and it was great. My only complaint was that we waited over 30 minutes for a yogurt parfait we added to our meal. It was during a rush, so I can't really argue. Even our waitress was upset by it as she kept checking if it was brought out. I think she went and made it herself, lol . She was wonderful. Overall, it was a great place. The potatoes were pretty good too!

There are so many choices on the menu that you'll definitely find something for you! I got the waffles Benedict, which came with roasted potatoes and pulled pork. The eggs were very runny which I loved, and the chives added a unique touch to the dish. The liege waffles were also unique, not too sweet but a little soggy from the Hollandaise sauce.
