i have not yet made it into the city to try the restaurant but i am blessed to visit their food truck when it comes to the milk pail- el gran paseo on rt 25 in elgin on the weekends. the birria is amazingly flavorful and moist and the pulque is soooooo delicious too!!! could not recommend them more highly! so so so grateful they bring their delectable treats out to the suburbs!!!! thank you los mixiotes!
I will update and add another star if the "consome" is good. I need to come back and soon. As far as the barbacoa and pancita/montalayo they are delicious! Just like in Toluca.
