I stayed at the Palmer with a friend and we went to the Lockwood for Breakfast. The service was great and our food was very tasty. I, foolishly, forgot to mention to the server about a discount I was eligible for thinking that it would be applied automatically when I charged the food to my room. When I brought it up, the manager there went to all the efforts to apply the discount to my bill and I made it really hard for her because I didn't have a receipt. However, she went the extra step to help me and I really appreciated that! Hoping to return soon :)

We had dinner here our last night in Chicago. Our server was awesome. Our cocktails & dinners were perfect! It was pure luck that we got a table here on a Saturday evening without a res. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the hotel are super chill. I highly recommend visiting Palmer House if you're ever in Chicago.

I came into town to visit my husband on a work trip. He hadn't had much luck with food since he got here so we took a chance and ate at the Lockwood which is downstairs in the Palmer House hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at how perfect this food was!! The salmon was tender and flavorful and the crab cake was delicious and the perfect late night portion. They had some signature cocktails but I had the margarita which was yummy. I would definitely recommend this place it's nice and the service was fast.

Solid hotel restaurant food. For ambiance, eat in the beautiful lobby instead of the restaurant itself. Plentiful staff and very attentive sevice. Hidden inside the Palmer House so probably doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Cannot get over how good this burger is ? the Palmer House lobby is incredibly beautiful to sit in. Great place to people watch. But OH all I’m thinking about is the burger. I ordered it medium well and it was perfect. So peppery! Will be back for that for sure.

We've spent lots of time at Lockwood's Restaurant & Bar, both as guests and as after-show patrons. The atmosphere is always lively with the hotel guests and the staff is great. The service is professional and Chicago City grade. We love the drink and wine selections. I always look forward to climbing the steps into the lobby for a great evening.

Its our second time staying in Palmer house Beautiful hotel. Their front desk staff is wonderful and such a nice welcoming people. We had lunch Lunch was amazing And server: she was really friendly and looked like she was working by herself Even though she is by herself she was still managing to check on us time by time We had our breakfast to go this morning Oh man what a experience Manager was looked so mad and pissed I wish someone check the camera and watch his attitude I never treated like this in hospitality industry He stormed of on us He was so pissed and mad And after we sign the check n we gave him the check and said thank you to him He never say thank you he just took the check and stormed off again Restaurant manager !!!! Wow if its too much to handle i think he should step away and take a break He dont have to blow off on anyone If its other way around he would be so pissed if i treat him the way he treated us So hope he read this!!!! I dont deserve to treated or start my morning like that And you want to be call yourself luxury hotel Wooow nooo!!!!!

Tradition. One expensive drink before exploring Chicago for our holiday tour. Lots of seating, not enough servers.
They didn't come to ask how many people there were, so I asked what I should do, and they gave me a menu, saying that they would come take our orders wherever we sat.There was only one empty table with trash on it, so I sat down, but the staff didn't even clean the table. When I ordered coffee and brownies from the menu, they told me to go over there and get it for myself.It's been 20 minutes and they still haven't cleared the table and they haven't taken our order lol. What's going on? Is it racism?Felipe wasn't our server, but he saw that I was upset and took our order instead. I was surprised when they asked me if it was okay to pay money to order from the menu, haha.Our server's name was Javier(?), but I don't know who it is, but the service is the worst. This is my first time receiving such poor treatment haha.
