Dog friendly! Great selection of drinks. They offer pizza. The decor around the bar is really cool. The bartenders were very nice and attentive. They have an outdoor area for smoking or just to relax outside. I really enjoyed myself. I definitely will be back.
I have heard through the grapevine that Rex Tavern would be bedecked with Christmas decorations every year. Well, this is the year that I would finally check it all out. Rex Tavern is located on Milwaukee Avenue, just around the corner from the Jefferson Park Blue Line station. This is a perfect neighbor hood bar. The bartenders are amazing. We see Chevo and Jane every time we go there and they take great care of us. It is pet friendly so we get to play with random dogs while we're in there. They have a dart board and a private patio out back with heaters, and they serve the best frozen pizza you can ask for. What more could you want from an alcohol providing establishment?
