Worked out great to have Easter lunch here after mass around the corner. Very attentive staff with a good standard menu. Finally had an Italian beef!

One of our favorite Italian restaurants off the Magnificent Mile. Italian menu famous for large portions. Try the veal marcella and lasagna. Wonderful tiramisu. Good Italian wine menu. Will return.

Had a fantastic Sunday brunch. We ordered the chilaquiles and pasta with vodka sauce and added a meatball. Both meals were great and our server Tara was excellent. She helped with the menu and gave great suggestions. Will be back next time we are in town.

We went to rosebud on rush on a busy Saturday night with reservations, the interior is very clean, well put together, and intimate. Our server Andres (or Andreas I’m not sure how he spelled it) provided the absolute best service I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. He walked us through the menu, gave us his personal recommendations, and treated us as friends. Every need was tended to in a timely manner. The food was incredible, veg flavorful and fresh. I had the filet trio which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and came in a red wine sauce which paired flavors perfectly. My girlfriend got the tortellini carbonara which she absolutely loved. The drinks were also very tasty. If we lived in Chicago we’d go here multiple times a month

First time here and had a good experience. Was able to reserve a table for dinner and it was located just around the block from Homewood Suites. We dined in the outer sidewalk dining area (enclosed & heated). Nice size portions with enough to take home for 2nd's. Our server was very attentive. Never ran out of drinks or water. Bread w/olive oil & parm was great while we waited. Will definitely visit again when we're downtown.

Took my mom for a date. The people do their best to serve you. Some of the food we had to send back but the staff was so respectful.

Our first time in Chicago and definitely wanted to hit up a great Italian restaurant. We were told this was the one. We walked from our hotel and was looking forward to a nice meal . The food was fine but our waiter was very inexperienced and just padded our bill so unnecessarily without telling us. Management did not care whatsoever either with our complaint. The portions are absolutely huge. Enough to serve 4 people and unless you live here, you better go under the bridge and feed the homeless with it. Some may say big is good and it might make sense. I ordered the chicken parmesan and the presentation was family style but it was your single serving. If you have to serve portions that size for your reviews, how good are you? The waiter did not mention this as we could have shared our meal with 3 people and still took a serving home. We ordered a different sauce on the pasta and was charged another $11 fee each without the waiter telling us this either. I don't live here and had to throw it all out. Maybe big is good but that was absolutely insane to serve such a size to one human being. I will never be back.

We were looking for a real authentic Italian experience and to be honest, the food is exactly that. Great wine list, very large Caesar salad, wonderful Caprese salad and then when the portions came for the chicken parmesan, I saw my wife's eyes open as if she was being served a full cow. Talk about home of the Big Whopper.... the waiter really should have warned us of the size so we could have split the meal. Honestly, it felt like a cash grab but after talking to the manager after this, he assured me it wasn't and that this is the true Italian culture of serving big, but I know better because I've been in Italy many times and everything is small bites, many menu items and long service. The chicken parmesan is 11" long and 7" wide and could actually serve four people if not at the very least three. We walked the streets looking for homeless people to give the extra portions away, no kidding. We had a flight the next day and it's not like I was going to eat this for my first meal waking up the next day (like the Manager suggested). And to add to that we changed up our order a little bit to get pasta instead of potato, thought that would be easy enough but with an extra $14 charge total, we weren't at all told that. Seems like a small amount but that would be 5% of a tip for which the waiter never got. Honestly, we've never been to a restaurant in our life where we gave absolutely no tip to a waiter who should know a lot better about communicating simple things like portion sizes, charges for changing up an order and so forth, and then told my wife she was rude when she explained this matter of factly. The manager was no better, after we told the waiter this the manager simply came by and simply dropped the bill on the table after we expected at least an $11 reduction and said Arnold Schwarzenegger style 'I''ll be back' (to pick up the Visa charge). We won't be back!

Along the bustling Rush Street, Rosebud on Rush exudes an aura of elegance and sophistication, making it a quintessential destination for upscale dining in the heart of Chicago. From its sleek exterior to its refined interior decor, the restaurant exudes a timeless charm that beckons diners to indulge in a culinary journey unlike any other. On a lovely Saturday morning, my wife and I were fortunate enough to secure a table in the enchanting outdoor seating area, offering picturesque views of the surrounding cityscape. Bathed in the warm glow of sunlight, we reveled in the delightful ambiance, relishing the opportunity to savor our brunch amidst such enchanting surroundings. To kickstart our leisurely brunch affair, we indulged in refreshing mimosas, crafted with precision and served with a flourish, setting the stage for the culinary delights that awaited. As we perused the menu brimming with tantalizing options, my gaze was immediately drawn to the Crab Cake Benedict—a decadent creation that promised to tantalize the taste buds with its symphony of flavors. Upon its arrival, the Crab Cake Benedict proved to be a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The jumbo lump Maryland crab, delicately perched atop a golden toasted English muffin, was a sight to behold, exuding freshness and quality with each delicate bite. Accompanied by perfectly poached eggs and velvety hollandaise sauce, every element of the dish harmonized flawlessly, resulting in a culinary masterpiece that left me utterly captivated. Each forkful was a symphony of textures and flavors, with the succulent crab imparting a sweet and briny essence that danced across my palate with each indulgent bite. The hollandaise sauce, rich and luxuriant, added a creamy contrast that elevated the dish to new heights of gastronomic delight. As I savored every morsel of the Crab Cake Benedict, I couldn't help but marvel at the culinary prowess on display. It was a brunch experience unlike any other, one that left an indelible impression and a lingering desire for more. With impeccable service, breathtaking ambiance, and cuisine that delights the senses, Rosebud on Rush has undoubtedly earned a place in my culinary repertoire. I eagerly anticipate my next visit, eager to explore more of the culinary treasures that await within its hallowed walls.
