Amazing food! The meat was of great quality and so were the veggies. Make sure to try the Kurdish Baklava which was my highlight. The staff was also extraordinarily friendly. Kurdish people are known for their hospitality!
The most delicious Kurdish coffee (not caffeinated), Turkish tea, and Turkish coffee in Chicago. The food was delicious too. The service was good, as you could see in the video, our server was nice and game when I've asked him to put the coffee again on the table so I could take a video. The cups are just elegantly cute. This was an absolute treat. This was my first time trying Kurdish food and it did not disappoint. I started off with the Lamb Mardin Eggplant Stew. The savory and juicy lamb pieces over a bed of eggplant / veggie puree was satisfying and elegant. 1 dish was plenty! Ineeded time before dessert, so coffee it was.
