I can't wait to come back. Vibes are immaculate. We arrived around 10:30 on a Friday and had no wait to get in Slippery Slope (downstairs) or The Heavy Feather. With standing room only we grabbed a menu (complete with photos of their signature cocktails) and placed our order just before a booth opened up. This is the bar thats located above Slippery Slope in Logan Square. I don't know why they named it something different.. I guess its a separate bar altogether.. which is quite d***** because the patrons who get bored of the more casual conversational vibe of upstairs just go down to Slippery Slope to the dancefloor and more "poppin" vibes.. Great 70s playlist, a warm hazy atmosphere, and decently priced drinks. Unlike other reviewers I did not feel like the Slippery Slope patrons are the same people going to The Heavy Feather. The music wasn't overbearing and I was able to hear my partner just fine. It seemed like a great date spot as I noticed several couples sitting at the bar. The drinks were beautiful to look but a bit of a mystery in that they both tasted quite alcoholic and yet I felt quite sober afterwards....read full review
