Been going for years. No more. Ribs were dry and overcooked. Asked for extra sauce. When it did not after arrive after 10 min, asked dish clearer and he finally gave, but it was too late, ribs cold. Felt rushed. When paying, waiter literally watched me enter tip on his hand held device and when he saw my 14%, def. deserved, he literally said “ oh so you are not giving me at least 15%? “. F off. No soup for you. You get what you deserve and shut up. Should have left nothing.

BEST fall off bone ribs. I've been going with zesty sauce & onion rings since I could speak my own order as a kid (Love this place but the fries have always been unimpressive) . Prohibition sauce is delicious but a deep burn you might not expect (id go zesty & get some on side to try if curious). Dining room is small, but a nice bar to wait at (also small, so plan ahead). Its got a very cool historic Chicago vibe, has been in movies etc. Definitely try this place out for dine in or take out.

I grew up in small town missouri just outside of Kansas City just to preface, so I know BBQ. I recently moved to the city so obviously I was looking for a BBQ joint that was passable when I was missing home. Thank god I found this place because it surpasses my expectations in every way. The ribs do literally fall off the bone and have a crispy layer on the outside reminiscent of the ones I get back home. Their coleslaw is banging and their onion rings go hard. The mild BBQ sauce is decent but I was blown away by their spicy prohibition sauce. Wow, it tastes just like the stuff back home. If you are craving BBQ you need to try this place out. Also, our server was amazing! The wait is worth it!

I have been wanting to try Twin Anchors famous ribs well before it was “featured” on the film Return To Me over two decades ago. I have finally had the chance to visit this iconic Chicago bar & grill.The ribs are absolutely what has been talked about by the many people who have written and voted this place as the best in the city.The char on the meat gives it a rich smoky flavor and sweet carmelization. The zesty sauce is a nice brightness of tart vinegar and balanced pepper notes. The Prohibition sauce is really good too if you like that ghost pepper heat that sneaks up on you after the sweetness of the sauce hits the tongue.My side for this meal was pepper jack creamed spinach. This is a nice compliment to the ribs.I definitely will be back to try the other sides I saw other patrons devouring (eg in-house potatoe crisps) but the ribs are the star here!!!The service is very good and the staff is friendly.
