Classic Irish bar in Lakeview. Super nice staff as well as a little bit of an old-time vibe. On the strip of all of the big Lakeview bars in the area so it's easy to bounce around if you want. Only issue is that it's a little small so if you're going with a large crew and looking for a table on a busy day, you might need to get there early other than that no complaints.
Vaughn's is my go-to neighborhood bar. I love the vibe inside. I even did some trip planning with my friend there during a low-key weeknight. The bartenders have always been kind, serving up great drinks and tasty eats. They have a great happy hour and a few tables outside for when the weather is nice. So they have a "Raspberry Bubbles" cocktail, which is a Brut Champagne, Malibu Coconut Rum, with raspberry purée! Served in a classic Champagne coupe very 1920s / classic Hollywood! A traditional Chicago Lincoln Park Pub! I loved the quaintness of it all! The coconut shrimp paired wonderfully with the yummy spirits! Service was awesome (yay to Jack the bartender who was absolutely awesome
