Food is amazing! The pan pizza is huge and so filling. I wish the seating area was more "cozy". Everything is gray and the chairs and tables are outdated and uncomfortable. We have gotten pastas, pizza and chicken strips. The portions are huge and well worth the money. However the chicken strips and pastas don't reheat well so I suggest sharing entrees to eliminate the leftovers.

I would just like to say after driving an hour to pick up my stranded husband. We wandered into town and we found Maria’s!!! Can I say this place didn’t disappoint!!! I’ll say this my 4 yr old is a picky eater at times and new restaurants aren’t her favorite. But she had a meat ball and ate every bite then turned herself to my plate of tortellini. I thought my tortellini was absolutely fabulous and I do not say that very often about an Italian restaurant, but this place did not disappoint me anyway and that says a lot! My husband ended up having the lasagna which was fabulous he said. What can I say about the bread? Other than it was delicious and I probably could’ve had two more loaves. But carbs, you know lol all in all I would have to say I would drive the hour and seven minutes from my house to eat here again. I also messed up and ordered cheesecake. It was a tossup between peanut butter and turtle so I settled on the turtle. I ate a few bites in the car save the rest for after lunch today by the way, I will be eating leftover tortellini and turtle cheesecake for lunch ❤️❤️❤️ this place is worth the stop in my book. We will be back when we pick up the truck at the shop.

Review: I stumbled upon Maria's Pizza during a road trip through Colona, IL, and I'm so glad I did! This place is a true hidden gem. The Chicken Parmesan sandwich was absolutely divine - the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I also tried the chicken strips, and let me tell you, they were to die for! But the real star of the show was the deep dish pizza. Let me be clear: do not sleep on this. The crust was crispy yet fluffy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It's the kind of pizza that makes you wonder why you ever settled for anything less. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Maria's Pizza is definitely a must-visit if you're in the area. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings!

Wow! I've been trying to get here for a while because I love Chicago style and stuffed pizzas. Technically, I'm intollerant to gluten, so I eat just the insides, and it doesn't affect me affect me as much. When calling in to order, she let me know there was a special where I was still ordering the same thing but getting breadsticks for my husband. Food was delicious and always appreciate a deal. Can't wait to go back!

Had a pan pizza. This is not a pizza hut crust. Definitely had a good flavor and very filling. Prices were moderate. They do have a 3% charge for cards (debit or credit).

The meatballs and pizza are AMAZING at Maria's! My husband and I made a 3 hour road trip back to Maria's from Central Iowa just for the pizza! The owners are awesome and the service is great! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the mood for some delicious food!
