“When asking a friend "Whats good here?" She said Cole slaw of all things. Turns out, they do have really good Cole slaw. Wings were pretty good. Buffalo chicken wrap had some chewy/tough overcooked tenders inside, but the presentation was nice. I hear the pulled pork is good.”

“Been here a few times and the service is always great. I went in a few weeks ago just before closing because i was needing a very specific supplement suddenly. The owner was so so kind and helpful! She was out of what I needed, but they had just moved locations and they are still restocking everything. She gave me some ideas and even sent me home with some greens she uses for her smoothies for free! Support your local businesses, especially this one!”

“We had the best time at Sunset Overlook! We celebrated Valentine's Day in the coziest heated igloo, indulging in a delicious fondue special. The staff was amazing, and the food and drinks were so tasty! We’re already counting down the days until we can return in the spring and summer!”

“We are full-time RVers who, while traveling around the US, are in search of the best cheeseburger and have a rating system of The Best (only 1 rated), Very Good, Good, OK, and Not Impressed. While at our home base in Southern Illinois, we were in the Columbia, IL, area and Googled “hamburger restaurants.” We saw Washy’s Pub had good burger reviews, so decided to give them a try for lunch. Washy’s has a simple bar atmosphere with about a dozen tables. We ordered their Classic burger with me having American cheese and my wife pepperjack. We also requested lettuce, pickles, and sliced onions. The handmade patties were about 10 oz (good sized), nicely seasoned, cooked to order, charbroiled, and served on a nicely-toast fresh bun. I had their skinny-style battered fries and my wife had onion rings. The burgers came out hot and were super tasty due the meat seasoning. We’re not sure what seasoning they used, but it worked! My wife’s burger was just a tiny bit better than mine due the pepperjack they use. The fries and onion rings were among the best we’ve had as well. We rated the burgers (even without a special sauce), fries, and onion rings Very Good. The service was also top notch.”

“Not only do they have fantastic, unique offerings but the owners go above and beyond to accommodate requests. Scones, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, whoopie pies, salted caramel brownies and their raspberry linzer cookies are sooo good!”

“Went here last Saturday to watch a football game and have nothing but good things to say. The space is huge, plenty of TVs and activities. The service is what impressed me the most. Every server that walked by our table asked if we needed anything. We enjoyed the food, shot special and the machines!”

“We mostly go to Dairy Queen for the Blizzards—they are really good! The variety of flavors and mix-ins always hits the spot. The girl at the window was very nice, which made the experience even better. Service was pretty quick.
While the rest of the menu is standard fast food, it’s the Blizzards and shakes that really keep us coming back.”

“We had a party of 7, and we all got the fish last night with sides. Food was 5 stars including the pretzel app (highly recommend- that cheese sauce chefs kiss). They were very busy so it took a while to get our drinks and food but we didn’t mind. Our server was so friendly. Love the limited Friday lent menu. Highly recommend.”
