“After driving by this place for 20+ years finally we went to a birthday party for our son. Kinda what I expected of a sports bar. Large place with something for everyone.From what I could see they're heavy on darts and indoor golf. TV monitors everywhere and of course betting with slots.Only drawback was the smell in the men's bathroom NASTY BAD.It could have been a dried out floor drains but it was bad the entire night. We just had appetizers so I can't really judge the food.“

“Would give them more stars if I could. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar tonight (2/25) and the solo server and solo bartender rocked it out. They were busy prior to our arrival and that trend only continued. I don't know of many restaurant staff who could handle a walk-in 12 top, bar guests, and several families with small children who came in at the same time. They were assisting each other, running food (I even saw a kitchen staff member running food), bagging togos, changing kegs, and absolutely *killing* it all while never missing a beat. Food was amazing too!“
“Our food and service is very hit or miss. Sometimes we have amazing service and the food isn't as great and other times our service isn't great but food is. The menu and food choices are great. The wait times to be seated are horrible, but if you go on a weekday it's not as bad. The environment is extremely loud, dishes clanging from the kitchen, servers yelling, people talking and crammed in the walkways waiting, seating is very close to others unless you get one of the very limited booths. All in all it's fairly good and service is usually decent on average.“

“Hole in the wall with a good bakery, limited grocery and a full menu. They act like they could not care less if you are patronizing their store. Not sure if it's because I'm American but I have been twice and got the "I didn't GAF about your business" vibe both times. The South county location is 100X better to go to. It's cleaner and the dude is always thankful and kind. 100% opposite of here. I will not return here. Would rather go where my business is clearly appreciated and the vibe is positive.“
“Friendly's is a great atmosphere. They have any and every sports game on, the TV 's are plentiful, the drinks are cheap, and there's plenty of games to entertain the family. “This is definitely my favorite place in South County. Parking is a little tricky, but we went early, so we didn't have any issues. The food was surprisingly remarkable. The entertainment was great. The service was great. It looks really small when you first go in. But they have a back area that gives you a lot more seating.The area where the band is may be a little too small for as loud as it was.You should definitely try this out if in the area.“

“I really enjoyed this place. Turned out to be a great weather day and I think many folks decided to go out for lunch. They were unexpectedly swamped, but handled it. The wait for food was 20 minutes, however still very well executed. We had the wings, which were smoked and then transferred into hot wings, yum. Smokey, juicy, and tender with a nice heat in the sauce. My wife had the SLU High Brisket sandwich and I had the Foxhole cheesesteak. Both sandwiches had smokey, tender, and juicy meats with crispy onion straws and fried jalapeños. She ordered sweet potato fries which I tasted and wished I ordered over the regular crinkle cut fries from the freezer that I thought were meh at best. With really good sandwiches, I would offer equal quality sides, this would be my only fault for not awarding 5 stars. Still, even though they were inundated with guests, service was great and I would highly recommend you visiting there.“

For me, it's too loud and crowded on the weekends but that's a personal preference, so if you're looking for that..by all means stop in on a Friday night! I usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are always friendly. Occasionally the inside vaping can be a bit much if a number of people are going at once *but* it's usually not that bad. Great neighborhood staple that's consistent and enjoyable.“

I prefer to sit in the bar area to eat because the chairs in the outdoor covered dining are so uncomfortable that one can barely sit there long enough to eat. The waitress keeps stepping out for smoking and comes in exhaling smoke and wreaking.
