Worse experience I have ever had dining out. 7/30/23 My best friend and I went to this restaurant hook and reel Cajun bar for the first time. The host was nice /professional. The wait staff sherika(might be spelled wron) We said hello to her she didn't speak. We stated it's our first time here can you please explain the menu to us. My friend was asking questions about how to navigate the menu and said she confused about how it works, instead of giving clear concise explanation the woman went into attack mode stating in a rude manner "I don't count the shrimps,I don't go back to count shrimps"we were stunned. She then took the menu out of my hands and flip it in an angry way pointing by tapping on the menu" well just order this it's stuff you can order" her attitude, demeanor and tone was unacceptable. We left the restaurant because we felt dismissed, and wasn't being heard. She went to the back of the restaurant next We saw her came back to the front telling the host to go talk to someone (not mentioning name) it was obvious she got into an argument with someone in the kitchen and she wS loud. We as the customer should not hear arguments between staff while sitting in the dining area of the restaurant. We will never patron this business again. We will let friends and family know of our bad experience there. It's a shame you can't go out to eat at most BLACK owned business without experiencing negative treatment. SHAMEFUL!!!
