“I came here around 3 it was a bit busy and I seen the cashier was a bit overwhelmed because she was the only one taking orders at the time. Once she served me my order she had the best demeanor she made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely be back for the food and the customer service. nice atmosphere. “A little hidden gem. Friendly staff, clean and inviting atmosphere. We opted for the buffet but they have a full menu with many options. Food was delicious and the buffet offered many different dishes. They have 2 soups and a decent salad bar as well. “This is a favorite local chain of mine that makes legit Nashville hot chicken and serves up southern sweet tea to go with it. You can save the trip to Nashville to get hot chicken and stop in here! The medium spice is savory with a hint of heat and it goes up quick from there! The tenders are a great way to get a variety of heat if you want to sample the levels!“

“The food was fresh and the tenders were crispy and juicy and delicious. The place had plenty of tables and parking was easy. They did forget an item that we ordered, so I suggest you make sure you have everything before you leave the store.Dietary restrictions: Halal food“

“Ordered delivery on a Friday night and it got here in record time. The wings are a normal size unlike some other wing places nearby. The tots arrived crispy. They have some really good sauces to pick from that aren't too salty. Will definitely be getting food from here again when I get a craving for wings!“

“First time going today. Took the family because I saw they served food for kids too. They have a deal 2 for $10 chicken sandwich so we tried that out. Bought large fries which was enough for all of us plus some, Mac n cheese for my son and another chicken sandwich for my daughter. Paid under $40 with drinks. I tried the hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and I’ll tell you what, it’s very good on par with fry the coop, and I love fry the coop, the fries were crispy and seasoned I had them mild, also great flavor. Mac n cheese was delicious. I can say that this is one of my go tos for now on for hot chicken sandwich, this and fry the coop. I highly recommend this place. The owners were nice as well. “I mean... it's a mall Nandos. They sat us and told us to order online. We were the ones there. We ordered. A bunch of people came in about 10 minutes after we ordered and they all got their food. We waited. Luckily I had snacks for my kid because our food took about 35-40 minutes to come out.I'd eat here again if I had time to kill because I like Nandos, but I wouldn't bring my kid here again because of the wait.They have high chairs, but there's nowhere to put a stroller that'd be out of the way.“

“Was the perfect solution to a meal (and then some) for us busy folks. We got the wing dinner and were blown away by the seasoning, the choice of sauces and fast easy pick up. Seriously, as good as the chicken we got when we were eating our way across the South. I’m super stoked to have such high quality close by and not have to deal with a big chain…i do hope they develop a fried chicken sandwich to rival ole P**eyes, of course…but i know they’re just getting started! 10/10!“

“I had left a poor review earlier complaining about the quality and freshness of the chicken, the owner Chef Alex when I came in personally apologized and made the food fresh for me and personally. He explained again that the condensation with the food is quick to happen when it’s boxed up. He made it up to me greatly with a warm and fresh offering and invited me to take a seat and eat inside his restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice and modern with superb cleanliness. The chicken gyro ? was beyond my expectations this time. I apologize for even beginning to compare his chicken to chik-fil-A it’s an absolute disservice. I’ll look forward to coming here more often and dining in the future , and sharing this wonderful place with my family and friends !“

“Great fried chicken! Chicken falls right off the bone and is super juicy. The skin is very crispy and is not overly seasoned. The French fries had the perfect crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I'm not a fan of Cole slaw at all, but the Cole slaw here is good! Lastly the fritters, I had no idea what a fritter was, but man it was good. I see why they are sold buy the dozens. If you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and try it. You will not be disappointed.“

“An uber rider of mine, William a.k.a. "Baker", a brotha, told me to go here and try the chicken breast dinner with mild sauce. I tried this today and it is the bomb, like he said. I'm a korean uber driver. This chicken breast has a deep smokey flavor where the leg and thighs do not.It is a 9.5 out of 10 experience; you should try it. The breast is the only one that is smoked, I think. So make note of that and get the breast dinner combo with fries, and tell them mild sauce!“

“So I doordash pickuped this order because I could not remember the name, lol. First of all. I want to talk to my fell doordasher, uber eats drivers, and grurbhub drivers.I am a driver as well on two of these platforms.I am appalled at some of the behavior of my fellow drivers.When I got there the cashier told me to accept the order before she gave me the order.She said that some of these drivers are screen shoting their orders as delivered and taking peoples food. Why? Why? If you can afford to operate a vehicle then find a way to afford food without taking the food from other people. Do not be mad at the people who have figured out either to worth the system, save money, budget, or just dont care but have enough money for that meal.To steal from customers paying you to deliver their food is just inexcusable. And you should be ashamed of yourselves. I am ashamed for you.I ordered chicken wings and catfish combo and a side of mushrooms and buffelo wings with a piece of carrot cake as a desert.I like to order and break the order down into multiple meals. This made three meals.All of it was very tasty. The lemon pepper added is very tasty. I love the mushrooms. They are very high on my list of best places to get breadded shrooms.At first I was a little aprehensive of the wait service. But I have a way of conversating. And it turned out she was aprehensive of me because of the situation of people stealing orders. So I felt like she was my foods body guard and I support her commitment to customer service. You go girl! Thank you for protecting my food until I got there.5 out of 5 I would ear here again.Wheelchair accessibility: One door in and one door out. Both push doors. Not automatic. The counters are above waist height. May need to ask for accomedations to receive food from the window. But there is a door that could be utilized maybe“

“I appreciate having a WFF takeout location closer than the main Romeoville location. Service here was very friendly. The food is exactly like the food at their other locations, so thumbs up for consistency. Their chicken is among my favorite because it resembles the way my mom and grandma used to make it. They fry it and give it to you so it's not sitting on a warming rack like a lot of other places do, so even though I had about a 30 minute drive home it was still warm and crispy.“

“Late post..but a HONEST one ….Mother’s Day May 14,2023 …on Mother’s Day I was wore out during the day activities going to church and afterwards of this and that I decided not to cook cause it’s Mother’s Day and I decided to get some take out and then we decided to go to Captain Hook’s to get this and that for dinner …First time I step into the place ( always order over the phone hubby pick it up or deliver) but to my surprise it’s a neat and clean place and some restaurants be gloom with the gloomy lights this place is bright and cheerful kinda feel to it ..I order my meal ( The man who works there his customer services was on point ) he was nice well after I got my meal he was so polite he told me on the behalf for Mother’s Day the mothers get a free dessert ( I was eyeing the slices of cake before he even speak lol when I came in ) was a nice touch at the end of a long day …In other words I enjoy my little visit and the worker who was in charge was a delightful pleasant person“

“It's a small KFC, been going here for years. Hard to get a job at though. My family always enjoyed this place, I go time to time. Love their deals, their famous bowl, popcorn chicken, and bucket always win me over. Their promos are nice but lately it's getting pricier. A small joke, not far from Lover's lane, you can have both a thigh and a leg tonight. Either way staff is always nice.“
