“Stopped in for carryout. Ordering was a bit confusing. We did try the brisket, and it was delicious. The sides were just OK (lots of rice, a few potatoes, garlic, some type of tomato salad, corn, and Cole slaw). They also give you lots of sauces. I would go back and dine in.“
“The best bbq around hands down. Super Smokey flavor and smoked to perfection. My only gripes was you have to order at the counter and they call your name. I stalled the line a bit cause I didn’t know the menu but it’s not that difficult to do either. I’m guessing less staff = lower prices and I didn’t think it was crazy expensive, it’s decent. Second gripe was the paper towels in the center of the table, should be off to the side but no biggey, easy work around. Great place though! I’ll be back.“
“It's the highest rated bbq restaurant in the area and there's definitely a reason for it. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and the service was great. I definitely want to come back soon and not continue driving past it all the time“

“First timer here and I will be back. Great service— perhaps due to time of day and it not being busy— but the servers were constantly asking/making sure I had enough side dishes and/or if I needed anything else.My meal came with refillable tea which was very nice. I got the bulgogi bento box and it was really delicious and worth the money for everything I got on my plate. I would love to try some of their other staple dishes as well.The vibe of the place was nice; they had k-pop music playing and a very clean aesthetic. I’ll def add this restaurant to my rotating list of staple places to eat at.“
“Uncle Bub’s was such a fantastic caterer for our wedding. They helped with setting up all linens, centerpieces, chargers, menus, signs, and any and all decor we needed for the event. They got there right on time, knew exactly what they needed to do and were just so helpful throughout the whole event. They were cleaned up on time and made sure everyone was served and taken care of the whole time. Absolutely no complaints from any of our guests and only great compliments on both the food and service.Not only was their day of service fantastic, but the planning process with them was very smooth. Easy to contact, flexible with tastings and conversations on weekends when we had more availability. It never felt stressful or overwhelming and any questions they were able to address and ease our minds throughout the whole planning process.Please consider them for any events as they were a joy to work with across the board!“

“Attended BBQ 101 presentation at Beach Ave. Juan and Chris, the owners, are very knowledgeable, and they both shared the style in which they prepare and cook for the restaurant. The conversation and interaction with all of us was informative and funny throughout. We were also served to sample the finished foods they were demonstrated. Along with the food, several beers and soft drinks were also available to sample. If you enjoy BBQ and smoking meats and poultry, I would highly recommend attending this event. You will come away with added knowledge of the art of preparation and smoking items for you and your family and friends to enjoy.“

Then decided on our appetizer.First, we ordered some jalapeno cornbread for appetizer.Then for our main course garlic mashed potatoes with sage gravy, barbecued ribs, beef brisket and pulled pork! “Came for the rave reviews about their dim sum and they didn't disappoint. Food was hot, fresh, tasty, good portions and staff was very attentive. Really have to hand it to the chefs. Although decor is nice, they really should've spent more time or money in hiring quality painters and that includes the restrooms. “We got a 16” pepperoni pizza and breaded zucchini. The total with tax and small tip was $33. Not bad and on par with other area pizza joints. This pizza was pretty good. Enough cheese and each slice had at least 1-2 pieces of pepperoni on it. The sauce was also pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was the crust. Well it was don’t perfectly, it seems just a little chewy. But no where near enough where I wouldn’t get it again. I would recommend Duncan and Dada’s and would actually get the pizza again. My wife loves the breaded zucchini. The pieces were big, unlike other area places where it’s small pieces and all you get is breading. She said it’s her favorite breaded zucchini.We will definitely be back.Parking: Park in the front of the building I’m for easy access to pick up food. If you want to bowl, park in the back.“
“First time coming here and the atmosphere is great. Lots of stuff to look at on the walls that date way back. The service was outstanding, our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The food was delicious, I had the brisket grilled cheese and it was very flavorful. My husband had the Pit Plater with brisket and he said it was very delicious. We loved the Brisket which is moist and has a bit of delicious fat, the pulled pork is not dry but flavorful and turkey slices are just ok -maybe lacking flavor which can be dressed up with a choice of sauce.The two slices of bread could be replaced by the traditional corn bread .The coleslaw was freshly made and yum! We found the mac & cheese to be bland and is a surprise because other patrons complained about this item and feedback didn’t seem to help! The triple chocolate cake is tasty but not moist enough so it crumbles.We paid $34 and was enough for two persons.Very pleasant staff will return on Tuesdays !“

We ordered our steak medium rare. It was cooked to medium. I ordered a side of mushrooms. The mushrooms were on my steak.The waiter was alright. Since they were extremely busy.
