This place is great if you like steak and cheese, get the steak burrito dinner you won’t be disappointed.
The food was great, speedy service, friendly staff. I believe it was the two owners working. The husband cooking and the wife was our server. My only complaint is it was really cold in there. We will definitely be back!!!!

Grew up down the street from here. Never had them much and haven’t had them for a while. Wanted Mexican food so I went in and ordered. They have a great menu. Got chips, guac, salsa, a burrito and some quesadillas. Everything was great. Will be back.

We LOVE Carlos River Cafe! Delicious food and fast service. Pro tip—their breakfast entrees are delicious but it’s BYOC—Bring Your Own Coffee. Prices are low! We come for the food and we stay for the decor and cheerful service! Enjoy the authentic Mexican music and immersive ambiance! They make their own chips and three salsa. Go here, eat, and be happy.Vegetarian options: There was a meatless breakfast option that suited my wife.Parking: Ample parking!Kid-friendliness: It’s a Mexican restaurant so of course, it is a family restaurant.

Love the food! Always have.. today I ordered extra guacamole what I got was a bunch of tomatoes with onions... Maybe a bit of avocado, not much to taste but it was green.At this time . Don't order extra! It was better before

Very disappointed. Been going there for 20 years and today my wife and I were very disappointed. The food was OK but not great like it used to be, but the waitress acted like she was doing us a favor by waiting on us. On the verge of being rude. Won't be going back. Sorry Carlos.

Ordered take out. Asked for no onion in anything. Onion was in everything! Husband brings it back and they won’t re make it correctly or refund.Have always gone to this establishment, but they messed up and this is our last time there…and we’re passing the woes along.Take care of your customers!

I hate posting bad reviews, but I let them know I had a dairy allergy and they gave me sour cream and made me sick. I ordered through Uber eats and put it in the description twice. don't eat here if you have allergies.
