Stopped by this place while road tripping through IL. While we were first wondering if we made a good choice, due to the lack of anything else in the area but corn fields, we were wonderfully surprised by the food quality and service. Service was horrendous, food was utterly disappointing, and then we were all charged a 20% gratuity without being told we would have it. We should not have been required to pay that gratuity when the food and service were both trash! I understand making sure your staff is properly paid for a large group of people (I’ve been a server before along with many other people in our party) but shouldn’t that be the owners job? This a great place to have a nice dinner and hang with friends!! Apparently the food was so good I didn't stop to take a picture..lol the steak was really good and cooked perfectly!! Good salad bar came with the meal...if I make my way back to Danville I will definitely stop in the Little Nugget!Thanks for a great meal!
