“Derek makes the best bloody Mary's. The patrons have the best bad Jokes, i recommend the hot salty nuts but if you want some skittles you really get your quarters worth. If your lucky enough for them to have some, their beef jerky is killer. Will definitely be back.“

“To Melissa Beck...The Stables is a bar, not a restaurant. Bartenders do not come out from behind the bar to serve/take orders at the tables, esp since there is usually only 1 bartender per shift. Also, the 4 tables are literally 3-4 feet from the bar. You should really go back, I’m sure they would love to serve you a beverage!“
“We were on our way back to our 5th wheel at Mendota from the John Deere Museum. We were hungry and I looked up what was close on Yelp!! We just passed Porky's...we turned around and we're so excited we did!!!! The best hamburgers we've ever had!!! I was able to see our cook from our table. Clean kitchen and wonderful cook! We both told her how good and delicious our burgers were!!! Cooked to perfection!!! Our waitress was exceptional!! Now this looked like a biker bar and grill...my thought...but we are so thankful we stopped!!!“
