“I just love this restaurant - the look and feel of it is classic Italian steakhouse with a baseball theme, the menu is almost perfect and the service is fast (even too fast?). The dining rooms are truly beautiful, with exposed brick and oozing history, and really set the tone for the meal. The menu, with its classical Italian steakhouse fare of steaks and pasta, has so many enticing offerings and the servers, in their white coats, have a perfect look to match the setting. The only reason that this is not a five star review is that the food is good, not great. If you want top steaks, then there are many other Chicago steakhouses that might be considered (Gibson's for example) - if you want top Italian, then there are also many excellent options (Volare nearby is a good one). The food is good, just not the reason one comes here.“
“Buzzin BBQ is hands down my favorite local place to eat. I've had nearly everything on the menu and nothing has disappointed. The brisket is my absolute favorite. It's so tender and juicy, just what I'm looking for. The portions are good sized, definitely worth the price. And don't look past the sides, that mac and cheese is one of the best things on the menu. Buzzin BBQ is frequently adding menu items, keeping the menu as fresh as the BBQ. The dining space is really nice and clean. I cannot recommend Buzzin enough!“

“Doc's is the kind of place where you've got people from out of town in, and they want BBQ. And you want a huge variety of tap craft beers . Or you want to go there just for the beer. Surprisingly, they also have a huge whiskey selection as well. Oh, the BBQ, very good. Pig wings are flash fried smoked wings. They are fantastic. Everything else is wonderful, brisket, pulled pork and the sides. All at a reasonable price. Service.... Staff is very knowledgeable, especially the bartender who knows a thing or two about the liquor he serves. Great place ??“

“Okay if this want located in the same building with a barbecue place and a sandwich shop (meaning NO PARKING), in a spot surrounded by crime, I'd put it right up there with the best good old fashioned donut shops. The donuts are fresh and delicious. The lack of parking is a serious drawback, and I'm not walking very far to get donuts on that high crime corner. A security detail in the parking exceedingly small parking lot would go along way to securing a five star rating.“

“Extremely frustrated! I feel like I wasted my money. Instead of the small end I ordered, I received a center cut, which I do not enjoy. The meat was thick and tough, not what I expected. I'm curious about the return policy—is there a way to exchange it? If it wasn't already late on a Thursday night and if I lived closer, I'd consider taking it back. Lesson learned: always check your food before leaving.“
“Tried this place for the first time and they did not disappoint! When you walk on its a quaint little place with a New Orleans type of vibe. Food was incredible and the bbq sauce was a must try. “Kirk’s you have gained a new customer. My husband got a tip and chicken combo. I got a mini tip. My husband usually doesn’t allow eating in his car but we drove 30 minutes to get there based on the recommendation of his coworker. The food smelled so good I just had to taste it . One bite and it was over! We finished the mini tip before we made it to the highway . I opened up the chicken and tip combo. It was at that moment when we agreed let’s turn around and go back for more. We returned to purchase the bucket of rib tips. Barbecue is our favorite food. But it’s so hard to find good barbecue so we usually make our own. So glad we found kirks BBQ I hope they remain consistent.“

“Tried the jerk barbecue rib tips. I wasn't terribly fond of them but then I remembered they were JERK so I settled into the flavor. Next visit I tried the beef short ribs and they were very good with the sweet potatoes and the greens both also good. Last visit I tried the oxtails. They were incredible and I look forward to getting them again. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. However, this time the greens were extremely bland, but that won't stop me from going back.“

I noticed one employee and heard another in the background as I walked up to the window. ..The Lobby w/max cap. around 15 people held approx. 6 customers whom had already placed orders.The most visual worker kept "busy" going about his duties preparing and packaging orders.My 1st and foremost complaint:Lack of Attention or No Priority given at The Service Window! The Main Employee, (even as another Customer enters the Lobby) never looks up ? ? not even once. He doesn't acknowledge my Presence for over 5-mins. He literally ?? walks right past me twice ??♂️. I didn't feel that they cared one way or another The Preparation Table & Refreshment Preparation was adjacent to the Take Your Order Window and the Cashier area was to the right of where I was standing. So there's no reason for him not to notice me.“
“This was our second visit in the same month. We came on the 6th and the food was good except the Mac and cheese and the alcohol was good and the prices were very reasonable. When we came back on the 27th the food was good and the Mac and cheese was better but the prices was so much higher as well as the alcohol. Parking is off street and high. Our waitress was slow and brought our food out piece meal and the drinks were served last. I was so disappointed. Thought I was gonna make this my new hangout spotParking: Parking is very tight“
