“I tried this place (116th & Western location) for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea that it was a chain, until I went to write this review. Nice place: Good food, good service, for was delivered quickly and was freshly cooked. All in all, nice spot for breakfast.“
“Still the best place to get your breakfast and I’ve been to quite a few. Large portions. I always have to share an order with my sister. We almost always order their seafood skillet every time we visit. I love their pancakes and sausages with grilled jalapeño peppers.“
“First visit, will not be our last. Big parking lot, cute decor and very clean, we were immediately greeted and felt very welcomed. The food was fast, delicious and generous. The homemade complimentary soup was excellent and I would go back just for that. It seemed clear to me they are taking a lot of pride in this place and that always makes me want to support a business. We will definitely be returning.“
“Been coming here for a while, food is always fresh and good!I always ask for Erika because she’s always on point with the orders from what I have been receiving.I’ve also had Dishawn and he’s amazing as well!It does get busy in there during lunch hours but you won’t be disappointed in the end!“
“Quality breakfast diner in Oak Lawn that's been around since I was a kid. I've gone here several times with my grandparents, and now just grandma since it became juts her. They have all the usual breakfast and lunch staples, but at a reasonable house, and you get nice portions. Last time I went I got the special skillet, with a sign of french toast. Easily fills you up, if you can even finish it all. I like how friendly and nice the staff and owners were to my grandma, who comes here quite a bit. They know her by name, and recognize her and treat her well, so that is always great to see. Has its own parking lot. We went prime time noon Sunday, yet still got a booth, though it was crowded. Definitely your go to place if looking for that old school feel in the Oak Lawn area.“
“I got a two egg special with ham off the bone, grits and a biscuit. The ham had a weird taste that I didn't like. Maybe it was how it was prepared. The grits were really thick and bland, I had to add alot of butter and I always add sugar. The biscuit was buttery and really good.My husband got an American Skillet with pancakes and he said it was delicious. It comes with bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and cheese. It's very small so not alot of seating and there is a long line for carryout.“
“This place is definitely a trip. It's a family owned greasy spoon that fits perfectly in this neighborhood. In addition to your typical greasy fare you can buy AAA batteries, knee pads or even a machete. Watching the lady owner negotiate for custom tshirts from a local hustler was definitely the highlight of my morning. She was not taking any b******** She'd negotiate, then speak to her family in Arabic, then negotiate once more. I actually felt sorry for the hustler. It is unlikely I will return as I'm a northsider, but if I'm ever down here again I will make a point to stop at Rocky's.“
“Enjoyed a lovely meal Sunday morning. There were plenty of seats available, the coffee was hot and delicious, and our server was fantastic. We loved the Crepes and Eggs Benedict. And, there was a special benedict, a South Of The Border version with Chorizo and Chipotle Hollandaise which was amazing!“
“This is one of my breakfast go-tos. The food is great and so is the service. I ordered carry out. I got the Sophia’s omelette minus ham but extra sausage with American cheese. I got grits instead of hash browns and an English muffin. The omelette was huge. I believe they are 5 eggs. They weren’t skimpy with the ingredients either. They have a huge selection of breakfast and lunch options, so practically anyone can find something that they like. I will definitely be back.“
“Been here multiple times with both large groups and small parties. Each time the wait time wasn't too bad and the seating area wasn't overly crowded. Service has always been good. They have a variety of food options to fit everyone. The mimosas are great as well.“
“Food was good, prices were good. They had my favorite hot sauce (Louisiana) the staff were great. Three things that I say need improvement. The toast was a little too toasted, there was no grape jelly, and there was just a single cheese option. I would add at least 2 more options.“
