“I don't really have a sweet tooth so I don't typically enjoy pancakes, but had heard rave reviews of this place so took a chance. My server recommended the cinnamon roll and it did NOT disappoint! Tasted like a Cinnabon in pancake form. The servings here are massive. Also it gets pretty crowded. I arrived at 8ish and there were still plenty of seats, but by the time I was leaving at 9 there was a wait for a table. Thankfully the service is very fast.“
“A very American breakfast experience like you see in the movies. No chain. Super lively on a Saturday morning, quick service, friendly enough for Chicago. Very tasty food, good prices. The coffee is too thin, but the orange juice is delicious. We are very satisfied - thank you!??“
“Came in for breakfast and everything came out delicious. Our waitress Verica was very pleasant and made sure our waters and coffee were filled she also gave us a free sample waffle to try which was a nice gesture. We’ll be back soon! Ask for Verica!“

“I stayed across the street at the Thompson & thought hey why not give the breakfast across the street a try. It was DELICIOUS! we went here on our second day & came back every morning after. Definitely recommend, you wont be disappointed!“
“My friends and I, had breakfast here today and the service was awesome. I was seated quickly, and had many items, to choose from on their menu. The waiter was super nice and friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. The ambiance was great, the food was fresh and a lot of it. I took my leftovers home. “I ordered on Uber eats. large portions and steak was cooked perfect med rare and one of the best quality, largest breakfast ribeyes steaks i had in a really long time. The scrambled eggs were also cooked perfect were fluffy and moist . The 3 biscuit and Gravy was tasty . Pancakes were large and fluffy . Hash browns was cooked crispy as I requested. Also appreciated having all the utensils and seasonings and the steak sauce without asking. A lot of quality food for the price.“
“I think that the coffee here is some of the best that I’ve had and my friend says that he thinks that they have the best bacon in all of Chicago. The waitstaff is friendly and kept our water and coffee cups full. My bacon waffle was perfect. This is a really good place for brunch or breakfast. You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie omelette, oatmeal, toast and a few other things that I didn’t pay attention to because I got the veggie omelette w/ hash browns.“
“There were so many people that there was a wait of about 40 minutes!I ate on the patio when the weather was nice, the atmosphere was quite nice and the servers were friendly.There are so many pancakes that it's hard to eat them all by yourself! Although there was a lot of food, it was delicious and warm, so I was able to eat a lot without getting tired of it.I ordered a pineapple drink and it was quite short!I am satisfied overall and would like to visit again next time “
