I've been here many times now, and love it!! It's busy most weekends and holidays and nights tbh, lol. So expect a bit of a wait, sometimes. It's worth it. Besides you can walk up the street and have a quick beer at Orange and Brew or Emmett's Brewing Co. while you're on their waiting list. A lot of fat in these tacos. We had 3 different taco meals. The al pastor tacos and especially the suadero tacos had way too much fat. I get it, the fat adds flavor. However it's kinda gross to chew. About half the meat was fat.

Owners were rude....think this is a very Corrupt place of business. It's a shame that this kind of Mindset is spilling into today's businesses. Food was cold, drinks watered down.I find it ironic that all the 5 star reviews are coming from friends and family of owners. Who all get free food and drink. Very dissappointing. Downers Grove needs to step up its game with new businesses.

Food was fantastic. I had the steak sando, and I was not only leaving the table full, but with a happy palet. The steak is cooked well and the flavors are abundant throughout their sides and sauces. My fiance got a cali burrito and she loved that as well. The churro dessert was also a good call. Warm churros served with caramel and chocolate (team caramel). Will return happily.Small issues with order miscommunication, but nothing they didn't fix and that would keep me from coming back.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are slim, if any.

I used to LOVEEEE this place, this is my first time there since the new owners and what a disappointment. When we first sat it took about 10 minutes for our server to come to our table. We ordered a mezcal marg and the drink of the month. The drinks were decent however took a LONG time to come, but not as long as our food. I ordered the steak tacos and the tortillas didn't taste cooked all the way. They were so much better with the old owners, used to almost have a crunch to them. I spoke to a friend I saw when she was dining there and she agreed as well the food quality has gone down tremendously along with the service. I will not be going back anytime soon.
