“The minute you walk in you are hit with the sweet aroma of fresh baked goods along with being greeted by the owner herself who was absolutely welcoming and friendly. everything looks absolutely delicious got seven cupcakes and one of the donuts when I say that the taste does not disappoint everything was so delicious and moist absolutely and highly recommend this location.“

We had a starry night theme and we had a very non-traditional wedding cake design. She also worked well with our florist in creating our cake. “This place is adorable. The staff were so welcoming and friendly.We ordered a lemon and a banana pudding cupcake and both were fantastic. The white cake is so soft and fluffy and moist. Totally worth the $4 price. We will be back next time we’re in Naperville!“

They requested some elaborate pokemon cakes that they found online and I figured they would be nearly impossible to recreate. I reached out to Gina, she was super responsive and helpful. I sent her some pics and she literally recreated their dream cakes with no issue. They were reasonably priced and they were delicious! Wish I would’ve known about this place sooner. From celebrations to special surprises to last minute treats, this location has exceeded expectations in every aspect. Friendly staff. Organized. On time delivery with a cute Mary Poppins van. Moist, fresh and delicious cakes. Ballons and other types of decorated cakes of all sizes and tiers available for every occasion. “Could not love this bakery more.The staff is there as soon as you walk in to help you.I have not had a bad buntlett ever.The staff helps you decide what there is you might like!Also there are cards,coffee mugs and a hole lot more to look at.The bakery is neat and clean.Parking is adequate. From chocolate chocolate chip to white chocolate raspberry etc the choices are many.The bundt cakes come in all sizes-If you need to bring something for a special occasion this is the place.You will be addicted as I am.Your sweet tooth will thank you.“

“I saw the bakery sign and quickly parked the car. Upon entering, I saw that the bakery cases mainly held cookies, bars, and cupcakes. Not a huge variety, and more specialized with huge sandwiched cookies, macarons, large bar cookies. I opted for a Raspberry crumb bar and a chocolate cherry macaron decorated to look like Santa's belly. The bar cookie was huge; about 4" x 5". It had a deliciously crisp base, and you could taste the butter. It was filled with a thin layer of jam and a lovely crumb topping.The macaron was another story. The cookie itself was great. Light, airy, and crisp. The filling, however, tasted like white wedding cake frosting. It totally overpowered the macaron base. Made my teeth hurt. Total regret.I'd be interested in trying the cupcakes.“

“We always love Smallcakes cupcakes! It's fun when they have daily/ monthly specialty flavors to try, but my go-to classic flavor is Wedding Cake. So good! The cupcakes are huge, so in our family of 4, we buy 4 & cut them in half and then we each have a different half for dessert over 2 nights. When we visited friends while out-of-town, we picked up Smallcakes as a host/hostess gift & were even able to add a PupCake for their new dog. Great way to add brownie (cupcake?) points for the animal lovers in your life.“

“Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“

“Wow. We were driving from Chicago to Lake Geneva and stopped for gas at a rest stop. Smallcakes had a table set up there amongst the fast food restaurants and boy am I glad lol. We bought 3 - red velvet, chocolate and banana cream. They are the best cupcakes we've ever had (and we eat a lot of cupcakes)! They are sooooo moist and not too sweet. The flavors are big.
